This Buffy's technically from somewhere around... Series four or even five-ish. Possibly six, but I made it deliebrately ambiguous! She got turned after the third, but, at an estimate? Up to past the Wolfram and Hart stuff maybe took about a series length or something, after which, there's this indeterminate amount of time when she went on some kind of road trip funsome time with Dru, where they were kind of nomadic (reflecting how Dru apparently led Spike on a similar thing), before Spike met up with them.

So, there's probably less of a facial difference compared with series 3 Bufflet, but I know what you mean! That's why I try to leave that up to other writers, really! :)

I'd imagine that most characters haven't spent, like, a huge amount of time with Buffy, in person and, combined with seeing her over the medium of a screen or hologram, I figure any differences should be passable enough for people to mistake her. In person, though, yes. People like Cordelia could have noticed a couple of clues. You'd have to sort that out with their writer, though - maybe the lighting and music worked in her favour? :) That and Cordy's superficial reasoning!

I think the only others I remember her physically meeting have been Spike and Dru, but they already knew about what she was.

As for the experimentation, I completely agree! That's why it'll probably end up being very fail! XD Buffy isn't a chemist or engineer - but she is good at improvising stuff. So, it'll be a very crude attempt to try and transfuse Extra blood with hatched super-rich fun-time blood, with some pipes and stuff, but it won't work, specifically because she won't have a clue what she's doing. :)

More for the horror angle, than anything intellectual!

Also? I sort of want her to try force-feeding people on raw pineapple, now... Like, whole ones.

...Maybe I'm confused, but didn't your wiki say she was turned around S4? Because people don't age after their turning, and if you put a picture of SMG from S4 up against S7, she looks v v different. (And given that S8 is supposed to take place at least two years later, she'd look even more different then.)

And ehhhh, I see where you're coming from, except that like... the tablets (especially the holo function) provide a perfect image of the person speaking; the guide is like HOLO IS CRYSTAL CLEAR, SO DON'T USE IF YOU HAVE A SPOT, etc etc etc. I mean I guess I could suspend belief that someone who only knows Buffy over the tablets could confuse them at first glance, but beyond that I have a hard time seeing it.

I guess my point is that from an outsiders perspective, it seems like you've been presenting it as they look the same? But they don't, at least not anymore than people look like who they were years before.

Ahhhhhh okay then! That clears it up.

I wasn't sure about holographic stuff, though! The guide says they're like the 'Star Wars' ones, so, I was figuring not high-definition (and probably flickering). Just that using them on a bad hair day wouldn't be good?
