C. Circumstances of ConceptionNow, we all know that Hermes flirts with anything sentient and generally means little by it. As a god of speech, Hermes can convince any woman to sleep with him and so, to show his sincerity, an act without words was the wisest course of action.
When spring came to Taxon, the first flowers to appear were a totally new species of ivory and gold not-a-snowdrop with a single, centre spot of crimson. On the first day they bloomed, Hermes appeared and presented Nuala with a small, hand-tied bouquet. Accepting the gift, Nuala was well aware of the fact that were both old enough to know better but that she could still be young enough to enjoy the season.
D. PB/Appearance They probably take after their mother: pale skin, gold-blond hair, but have their father's neon blue eyes.

Elisedd is a mystery to both his parents. He's quiet, introspective, generally lost in some daydream or other, and has little to no interest in politics. That said, he generally acts as a reality check to his more, ah, boisterous sister -- his particular skill is the ability to spot and plan for unexpected problems.
Eithne is a terror in the best possible way. In her youth, she preferred straight-forward confrontation to out-thinking her opponents, but in time, she learned a measure of diplomacy. Still, she is occasionally, shockingly frank with her opinion.
It is entirely possible that at some point, Nuada stabbed Hermes./li>
