Well, Briar is pretty good at pretending his trauma doesn't exist as long as we keep him away from church/temple bells and no one hears him wake up from nightmares. ^^' As for magic, while Briar can do some pretty big amazing things, mostly he just wants to make sure plants are growing and happy. His magic works through everyday things like gardening and preparing medicines. Plus plants really like him and lean toward him when he walks by. It might take Adam a little while to notice even once they meet.
