When my friend replaced her old paperbacks with the hardcover all-in-one editions, I snagged them because they were still in better shape than mine. I'm on my second copy of about 4 Tamora Pierce books at this point. Granted, I'm a little hard on my books, in that I have a tendency to fall asleep reading and then they end up behind the bed, but I rarely need to actually replace any books.
