Five memories Dean has of his family before Mary's death.

1. Being told he was going to have a little brother. Dean wouldn't shut up about it for weeks on end.

2. The first time Sam started kicking. Dean can remember snuggling with his mother and then feeling it; he sort of freaked out, because he thought it meant something was wrong with Sam.

3. Sam being born, and getting to see him in the hospital.

4. There was this one time that he and John were making cookies for Mary's birthday. He burned himself on the stove, cried a whole lot, and then John put ice on it and they went and got ice-cream, instead.

5. Dean can remember the night that Mary died very clearly, from saying goodnight to his brother to John holding him, to carrying Sam out of the house.
