It's that time again, citizens!

WEATHER:

It is still winter in Taxon, but the weather is going to change just a bit. The snow that sticks will be leaving for (mostly) good, but the freezing temperatures remain. Same as with fall, regular bi-weekly storms will hit the city full of wind, rain, and iced roads. Don't forget the umbrellas, and certainly don't have anyone go into the water at the beaches. At least not if you'd like to avoid dealing with hypothermia and large chunks of wandering ice.


HOLIDAYS ARE OVER:

Yes, finally. After the twelfth day of Christmas (January 3rd), all the holiday trappings will disappear and their glitchy ways will go with them. Don't forget about both the regular Christmas present post and the fourth-wall gift glitch that's ending on the third. If you can't get things done right away, never fear. Backtagging is always an option, as well as figuring out things OOC.


SPECIAL GUESTS:

No, not another elf. Later this month there'll be a bit of... Exceptional weirdness with the Extras, care of direct meddling from the Alien overlords. We can't tell you exactly what will be happening yet (a good surprise is better unspoiled) but we are going to ask you for a bit of a favor: Gather up old in-game and canon quotes and send them to us. Anything a character has spoken out loud, about any subject at any time. Context doesn't matter, and neither does the character's current presence in Taxon. Just get us those quotes!

What's been going on: Eric and Godric had "the talk." The long, drawn out, angsty talk that we're still logging. He met Levi, had a nice bonding moment with Sookie, realized Cassie was gone, met the Cuckoos, was vaguely concerned for Dawn's health, got glitched into singing Christmas songs, took cookies out of the oven for Sookie because Sam arrived, talked to a glitched Buffy, greeted Snape, got a really bad t-shirt and went to the New Year's party.

Wow, I managed to condense all that into a single paragraph this time!

Things to do this month: MOAR CR. With...people. Godric needs to get out more. Also, he possibly needs some kind of hobby. IDK.

What's been going on: OH LAWD. Glitch ran into Illyria again even though she was pretending to be Fred, at which point he got glitched by the Christmas tree into getting her prezzies. Then he went for a walk one evening and met Drusilla who was creepy, but he decided to make friends. And steal a doll. THEN he started trolling newbies, particularly the Stepford Cuckoos. Glitch also spent time in his workshop, trying to get the tablet to work with one of his own creations, and while walking home with DG got holiday glitched again. By mistletoe. Moving on.

He had some success with the tablet/TDESPHTL combination and...managed to make a giant hologram of himself, which attracted the attention of the Cuckoos and, unfortunately, Buddy the Elf. While glitched with an overdose of holiday cheer he giggled at talked to Buffy. Then Snape arrived and Glitch taught him how to use the Marauder's map. Sorry? And then there's the New Year's party where he may or may not end up randomly getting laid in a broom closet. Again.

Things to do this month: STUFF. Anything, everything. No, really, if you want anything let me know, CR is LOVE and Glitch is ridiculously loud, always. Main thing for the month: a proper glitch. Let's just say I've been uploading those icons for a reason :D

What's been going on: Well, there was the Angelus bit, Cordelia getting glitched twice for the holidays, meeting and freaking out over vamp!Buffy, bonding with Levi, bonding with Buffy and Max over an insane amount of alcohol, and the usual TROLLING OF PEOPLE. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, YOU UNFORTUNATE CREATURES. also also, she and Angel has had 'the talk'. Yeah.

Things to do this month: I know I said this last month, but I would love to explore Cordelia's glowing powers or something. Also more trolling of people, because that part of her resume will never go away.

ALSO PEOPLE, I NEED CORDY TO HAVE A VISION. Any volunteers, your characters getting attacked/the ones perpetrating the attack/whatever? I so fail at this vision thing sob.

What's been going on: She's been going around masquerading as Fred because I am evil and been wanting to do this for some time?

Things to do this month: Um, more masquerading as Fred, building CR through her for the gorgeous mass confusion times. IDEK. If anyone wants to challenge her/fight her/use her for whatever purposes, I am game. Seriously, I need to use her more :(

Also also, I want some of her powers to return, gradually I guess.

What's been going on: A lot of holiday fail from the mun! Oh, aside from that? Gabriel was glitched into a five year-old and Claire got very attached to him. Mary was glitched into a teenager and embarrassed herself. Claire got into the holiday spirit, only to be confused by not!Elle (Hi Veronica Mars!) and then mindblown by Helen's epic Christmas present. Mary got into the holiday spirit, only to find out that her son was demon!glitched (in progress).

Things to do this month: Backdating demon!Dean funtimes, possibly seeking out new fun things for the girls? IDK. CR makes me happy. Mary needs to talk to more people now that she is finally settled, and Claire just likes talking to people.

What's been going on: The biggest thing to have happened to Angel in the past month is his brief revival tour as a holiday!happy Angelus, courtesy of Buddy. He terrorized the Buffyverse cast and others, but thankfully only killed and fed off Extras and ran around with his sired progeny, Drusilla, in tow (and feels somewhat bad for that, oh complicated guilt over what he made Dru into that will forever haunt him). He's had "the talk" with Cordelia and is now in a relationship with her, though no one knows that yet-- well, Levi knows, I think, but His Leviness is a special exception to the know-one-knows thing. A big clue to that will be coming out at midnight with the New Years Kiss, though. /braces self for the cast's reaction? :x

Things to do this month: Work on moving towards steps to get over the awkwardness that exists between him and some of the cast and maybe some things of the following visions nature, Zarah? And more bonding time with Faith, because that is like a must oh fabulous Sarahness.

NOTE → I'm moving on the 8th, so I may be scarce for a few days or so after that until we get net set up in the new place.

What's been going on: Well, his girlfriend just disappeared, and Dean just finished being a demon, so Toby's not doing terribly awesome emotionally. He's trying to deal, because he's Toby, so... he'll get over it. He enjoyed Christmas.

Things to do this month: I'm determined to get Toby to make some new friends this month. This is mainly a matter of tagging around more, so I shall get on that. Anything to help him with his ~angst issue. 8) Yeah, I... can't think of anything creative or plotty for him right now.

What's been going on: Oh, jeeze. Uh.

Leviiiii met Cordelia, made quick BFFs with her, met Buffy, made quick enemies with her, met up with Ethan again. Then Ethan decided he was sick of not being a vampire, and basically stubborned his way into Levi biting him. Then, Levi met Godric, Eric and Spike, and enjoyed his conversations with them. Hung out with Cordelia some more, and they decided they were going to have an epic NYE party. He glitched into singing a few times, as well. Uh, what else... met Dawn, kissed Buffy, KISSED ETHAN, forgot about that, but only because of the damn mistletoe glitch. He met Angelus and learned of Angelus' kitten-eating habits, was freaked out by Buffy, Cordelia and Ethan's 8D 8D 8D-ness, talked to an unglitched Angel, then went to go troll Snape in person. Unfortunately, Snape didn't like that, and burned the crap out of Levi by shooting sunlight out of his hands.

And then Levi had a party. And has ~sexual tension~ with Godric, and eventually kissed the crap out of him at midnight. Then the morning came, he was all ;___; until Shane showed up, and now he's like OMG SHANE FFFFF. So yeah.

Things to do this month: ahahah omg, he's done so much already. He's gonna keep on keepin' on, and... I keep hearing about some truce thing that's brewing, so maybe that? Lemme know if you want him for something. :3

What's been going on: Little bit more on the down-low with his experiments. The Buddy-stuff kind of behind the scenes derailed him. After that wore off he became occupied by winning over Astrid and then the party, which I need to tag...

Things to do this month: I'd say... probably the end of the month I'll have him glitch to basically have Yana's personality. Which is completely opposite of the Master lol. Being very confused of why he's in Taxon and why he's really young :D;

What's been going on: Dean has not actually done much this month, ahah. Sam and Bobby's house vanished, as did Anna and Castiel, so he's kind of like FML. Basically, he's been moping around Buffy's castle, occasionally hanging out with Dawn and sometimes with Buffy, and a lot of times with his mother and Toby. Christmas was nice. And then he happy!glitched and basically made Dawn tear her hair out, disturbed River greatly, and made Mary wonder if he was doing drugs. Also, he ate all of Buffy's happy!glitch muffins.

Oh, and right after that, he glitched into a demon version of himself (which is ongoing), tortured Dawn and messed with people's heads a lot, until eventually Mary and Toby trapped him (... still ongoing) and he went back to normal. And then he proceeded to live in the Impala and not talk to anybody until he goes to Levi's NYE party and is all like I AM THE GODDAMN BATMAN/RATDUDE.

Things to do this month: My voice for him has been quiet lately, hence the lack of activity, really. I'm assuming that when Supernatural comes back on from it's hiatus, I'll be like OMG YES, DEAN, so expect him to be around more. If you wanna plot with him, lemme know~

What's been going on: Oh good lord um. Talked to the Master, got freaked out by Happy!Dean, talked to Jack... We're assuming there was mistletoe kissings with her and Dawn at some point because RL has been exceptionally fail (thank you, holidays) and there were presents. What's been going on: This month, Dawn:
→ Met her sister's evil twin and proceeded to provoke her in a less than intelligent fashion
→ Kissed Angel due to the Mistletoe curse (it was like licking the inside of a can of spaghettios)
→ Was harassed and creepered on by Angelus.
→ Spilled the beans to an unglitched Angel she knows the re-ensouling spell, leading to possible horrors down the road

What's been going on: Met Levi again for the first time in several years, kissed Levi thanks to the evil mistletoe, detoxed, became a vampire again, got into a pissy bitchfight with Levi, trolled some people, met Buddy, was disgustingly cheerful, then glitched back to Ethan A La 1879. Returning to normal very soon.

Things to do this month: I deeeeefinitely want to tag him around. Being undead makes him more sociable, I can't explain it. So yes, I hope to throw him around a bit. Maybe get him to tone down the douchebaggery a bit.

What's been going on: After months of stubbornly holding onto ideals that don't really fit in with this place, Siri's easing up and starting to allow herself to try to fit in more with Taxon's setting and population. She's been here since April, so this is a long time coming and took forever to realistically/icly get to, given her nature. Um, she also glitch!kissed McCoy, which is still making her spazz, because Old Order Jedi don't do that and attended Levi's party in a stunning red dress the hatches deemed New Years'-ish.

Things to do this month: MORE CR. Because yeah, she needs more connections. Also looking to do a possible Sith/Dark Side glitch towards the end of the month to stir up trouble.

What's been going on: He glitch!kissed an already glitching mirror!Uhura and didn't figure clue into the fact that it was a glitch until much later, so he assumed it was a subconscious need to make himself (and others) miserable during this time of year, which led to a fight between him and Bones and a bit of awkwardness between him and Buffy before Bones explained things to her and Kirk apologized to them both-- as well as learned the kiss with Uhura was due to the mistletoe glitch. And holy wow that was a run-on if I ever saw one. ...moving on, he was messed with by demon!Dean (on going/backtagging), went to Levi's party and was hit on/flirted with by the vampire host and other things that are still being worked on.

Things to do this month: Have him angst about the birthday, as well as do birthday things with Buffy since he promised her he would. I've also been toying with the idea of him icly (and me oocly) proposing a "Taxon Military" composed of the military members for sort of a joint-effort peacekeeping thing so the military people have something "productive" to do that benefits the game.

What's been going on: Bones has been busy, actually. Chapel left, so McCoy has mostly been making sure Jim hasn't been outside killing himself or picking fights in the most ninja way ever possible to man, but they had a fight which accumulated in Bones relieving Kirk of his captaincy. He also spoke to Buffy face-to-face for the first time after a few minutes of hilarious OOC misunderstandings and he told her all about the life of Captain Douchebag. He bantered with Angelus for a bit where he found out Cordelia is a Seer (well, he figured that out later when he spoke to her) and the Angel/Buffy relationship. After that, he kissed Siri under the mistletoe, trolled a buddy!glitched Spock and tried to help Uhura after her glitch ended and actually missed Christmas because he was confined to Sickbay researching a new DNA sample. Oh, and he got a bitching new boat.

Things to do this month: Um, that Simon and Bones new clinic. Kirk's birthday. Other than that, I don't know what else to do with him.

What's been going on: Astrid's only just arrived, (two days ago - but still threading it). She's presumably found her programmed possession (the teleport) and is staying at the Sanctuary given that the Master has so 'kindly' settled her in and that's where he stays. Rumor has it, he invited her along to the NYE party with him - but we haven't started that yet.

Things to do this month:

She'll take her physical state as well as it can be taken, she's an eternal optimist and doesn't do emo. She needs to discover the Doctor is here yet. Plotwise I was kinda thinking, what with the Master being brilliant that he'd have worked out the teleport machine is keeping her alive - so much could be done with that!? Yes?

As for anything else, she needs to meet more people (party thread should fix that though!) I'm more than up for saying it happened too and hashing out OOC what happened with anyone as tagging everyone would be a nightmare.

What's been going on: Daniel, Jack, Charlotte and Sam leaving hit her hard, but she's bottled that and is back to her usual front of nothing affects her, which isn't necessarily good for her but it works.

Things to do this month: With her bottling her emotions, she's regressed a bit - back to her former self. I'd like to explore that more, maybe have her steal shit, just because. Any offers of victims of her crimes are welcome! :D

What's been going on: I re-set him, as I'd been away too long and couldn't feasibly write the absence in. That said, he's been here a couple of weeks and has decided to get completely the wrong end of the stick regarding Mitchell. Aeryn said he was his smarter, quieter clone and 1+1 made 3. So he thinks she's here with the clone she had a relationship with and PFFFT is leaving them to it (with the help of copious amounts of distillate of Laka - bug juice that helps you forget in a beetlenutshell - CRACK at the other side of the universe)

Things to do this month: Get him and Aeryn sorted, reading from the same page of the story would be good. NYE will see him v drunk and making a fool of himself, the ensuing lecture from Aeryn should get them back to normal! LOL

And meet lotsa people, anyone that fancies working on creating a wormhole with him to get them all out of there might be good! His equations are almost there.

What's been going on:
* Being confused.
* Getting unconfused.
* Having a variety of reactions to a living version of herself.
* Meeting Drusilla. Being thankful. Some bonding time.
* Figuring out that the 'Extras' taste awful, but still not realising they've got an official name.
* Feeling strange that her living self has a sister.
* Figuring out that the hatches can not only be used to get anything, but that they also reproduce potential blackmail material.
* Being annoyed that her living self and sister want to keep provoking her.

Things to do this month:
* Buffy challenged her to combat! This might have to occur... But it would lead to an almighty feud! Drusilla and Dawn writers, you guys would be affected most by this: What would you guys prefer?
* Alternatively, it might be intriguing to have some sort of situation where both Buffy's are trapped or something and need to help one another.
* Vampire Buffy is secretly planning to see if she can combine what's produced from the hatches, to make those 'Extra' things taste better. She likes biting, damn it! This would probably involve some fairly revolting experimentation with anatomy and stuff. She... Might try to turn one. Could that be possible?
* She's looking out for someone with scientific knowledge to help her maker get rid of that microchip which prevents them causing harm.
* Depending on how things go with the normal Buffy, she might resort to a campaign of slander, just purely for entertainment.
* Perhaps getting to know some of the more vilainous characters. Nobody seems to be co-ordinating the evil personalities into something effectively cohesive and she might decide it's time to!
* Uh... Maybe exchanging her item to some sort of residence? When applying, I forgot that those hatch things could easily reproduce a stake! I'd have to think what, though...
* Possibly be victimised by someone who uses magic, when they realise a turned Slayer's essence would be a powerful thing to try and have.
* Confront Faith, at some time. They haven't communicated! There's some stuff in this Buffy's alternative reality which is to do with her.

Just throwing this out there, but Godric and Slayer!Buffy have a tentative truce now, and Godric can tell her apart from vamp!Buffy by smell alone. It might be fun to have Godric be a thorn in the side of vamp!Buffy? Possibly not even intentionally? I'm thinking something hilarious like, like...derailing weeks of careful plotting with an offhand comment or something. :')

What's been going on: Not much this month, due to IRL busy things. Sylar glitched into a baby, so Helen has been enjoying herself with holiday merrymaking and being adopted mother ♥! Henry and Druitt also left, dipping her mood more than she'd really ever admit to. Helen prepared lots of food and decorations for the holidays, and supplied everyone with gifts as well!

Things to do this month: Meet Elle. And, possibly, a canon update. I think she has reached the point where she would be ready for one. She's continuing working on that gene therapy and hopefully that can be wrapped up this month as well.
