You have spoiled me. Because your River is the best.
The way you balance all the different aspects of her personality is just perfect, and I love how you don't go "ooh, look, things from her traumatic past" too often or in situations where it doesn't make perfect sense. And the sheer amount of research you do for the girl leaves me in complete awe.

I still need to finish that essay on amygdalectomies.
But lksdf thank you. <3 I always worry about her bringing up the ~traumatic past~ and if I ever start screwing up with that just let me know. It's not something she'd want to talk about every five minutes, even when a conversation or situation might ping memories about it so it's. A weird balancing act that I've probably botched more than once but. Yes. Thank you. <3 Also pfft this counts because now I know what parts I'm balancing right.

All the parts. They are all balanced right. <3 But I do feel that your handling of her past is one of the things that really puts you on a higher level than other Rivers I've seen (all, like, two of them).
