PSA: HELP HAITI
We aren't big enough to start our own fundraiser, but we can show you were you can donate if you can. As it is, the ONTD communities for two different fandoms (if there are more, let me know and I'll edit them in) raising money through UNICEF. In addition to those and the ones listed prominently below, there is a list of reputable charity organizations that will help immediately and are raising funds for the rebuilding and recovery effort in Haiti here and a larger list of organizations taking donations for Haiti relief (both those within and without the United States and the UK) can be found here

Stuff you ♥: food, drink, tedious paperwork, flannel sheets, the score from Sherlock Holmes, fanfic, being a political wonk, Manhattan, Alan Cumming's daily blog entries (which neatly blend TMI, lolz, and shameless self-promotion), hockey and most winter sports that I can't play, kitties, puppies, boobies, and mass transit. And lots of other stuff.
Stuff you don't: blind ignorance, the fact that my roommate refuses to rinse her dishes and leaves them on the counter for me to scrub when it's my turn while I helpfully rinse my own when it's hers, insomnia, and...actually I'm still really pissed about the dishes thing.
Fandoms: lol Tin Man, Doctor Who, Whedonverse silliness, Dead Like Me, a whole slew of anime (is Ponyo out on DVD yet? IS IT??) and apparently Psych and Burn Notice and...I don't watch a lot of TV. At all. And any day now I will give up and embrace Sherlock Holmes '09.

Any interesting notes about your journal?: Again, I treat Tin Man like a real legitimate living breathing trufax fandom and post fic which occasionally involves slashy goodness and/or AU crimefighting in Topeka. OTHER THAN THAT I bitch about the state of society in a liberal manner (this month: the Prop 8 trial has me transfixed) and provide many silly lists about my life. Typical journal stuff, really.
