MEME HO!

That's a nautical term, ftr, like LAND HO! (which, due to the involvement of land, doesn't really sound nautical - but it totally is) but if you wanted to interpret it as 'this meme is brought to you by Dele, who is also a ho', well, I'm sure I would have difficulty finding anyone around here to strenuously disagree on my behalf. Anyway, I love this shit so, this show: let us get it on the road.

WELCOME TO TAXON'S CR MEME!
  • Comment to this post listing your characters.
  • Other people will then reply to your comment requesting some epic TL;DR about how your characters feel about theirs.
  • Maybe talk about how you feel, OOCly, about the direction of their interaction or what makes this CR really powerful, tragic, or perhaps just straight up wildly lulzy.
  • Since we p. much always have new folks coming in, if your characters are so new they still need spanking, feel free to use this as an opportunity to ~*discuss potential*~.
  • It will be epic.

  • Christopher Walken believes in the beautiful, unvarnished truth. Don't disappoint him, bbs.

Hello most of Taxon Morgana doesn't know, so she may not have any thoughts.

    Petrana

    [identity profile] magicalskeptic.livejournal.com 2010-02-15 03:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Petrana: In her head, and probably in reality, Morgana will always refer to her as the Countess -- as the use of a title, in her canon, implies a deep respect. Besides the appreciation earned from helping Morgana during her first hours in Taxon, Petrana is something Morgana's never had in her life: a more mature woman who has (or appears to, Morgana doesn't know but appreciates both skills) her act together. Having never had that type of a female presence in her life, Morgana's bonded to Petrana extremely quickly.

This would be the reason Morgana's stayed away from Gatas. Having grown up the way she's grown up, she knows that outright affection is often treated with awkwardness or condescension (on Uther's part) or ridicule (Arthur's). Naturally, this belief will be transferred to Petrana.

In short, Petrana is her absolute favourite person she's met thus far in Taxon.

this is the most delightful thing :3 petra will just casually persist in being affectionate and lovely and composed at morgana, she is fond of her.

    Enfys

    [identity profile] magicalskeptic.livejournal.com 2010-02-15 03:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Warning: this is, most definitely, a tl;dr, but you asked.

Morgana isn't entirely sure how she feels about Enfys, other than that she knows she likes her. The problem is she can't explain why. Enfys's less than consistent behaviour brings out an odd protective side, the way one would treat a wayward younger sibling (despite Morgana not being older). The bemusement at the behaviour also stems from the same feeling. The problem is, Morgana wouldn't actually know that's how she feels. She has no reference point. Right now, Morgana is telling herself she let Enfys move in because she would never rescind an offer without cause.

She's let Enfys move into her home, (and see her chambers in a semi-disaster) and is willing to defend that decision to the person who means the most to her, Arthur. Because of Enfys's odd behaviour, Morgana would be more likely to confess the problem of her nightmares to Enfys, as long as she can determine there's some level of discretion, but that would be a long while off.

This also means, that there's a problem Morgana isn't considering, that Enfys could, given enough time and acquaintance, hurt her, the way Arthur or Uther can.

i broke the character limit for kay, so i cannot talk about tl;dr >_>

also I WISH I COULD PROMISE ENFYS WILL NEVER HURT MORGANA but no she's kind of great at accidentally hurting people. usually because they make the mistake of giving a fuck and then realizing she essentially has a death wish, BUT UH, she is kind of terrible at...interpersonal everything ._. SHE WILL TRY VERY HARD NOT TO I SWEAR.

Isn't that what wayward younger siblings do? They casually hurt people without meaning to?

It's a v. bad habit of theirs, Y. and sometimes she gets really creative in order to do it deliberately, but i'm relatively certain that will be more or less irrelevant w/r/t morgana because i can't imagine why she would ever.

    [identity profile] magicalskeptic.livejournal.com 2010-02-15 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
Morgana is impressed by Trixie because she's both a warrior, and a medic. This means the utmost respect, but because of only one conversation, there isn't much more of an impression.

    [identity profile] hercandleguides.livejournal.com 2010-02-15 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
they should hang out more, idk. trixie would probably be willing to self-censor her language a bit around morgana, i think just out of mutual respect there.

    [identity profile] magicalskeptic.livejournal.com 2010-02-15 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
    I agree.

    HELLO

mutual perplexity at some point y/n/pandas

    [identity profile] magicalskeptic.livejournal.com 2010-02-15 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
Definitely mutual perplexity. She's got a really, really positive impression of her canon's version of Mordred, so she'll give you more of a chance.

And, if we can, pandas are good.

    [identity profile] magicalskeptic.livejournal.com 2010-02-15 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
She knows nothing about her, other than the fact that she seems to be the one with the most knowledge about the objects. She's appalled by her language, but would soften a bit if Enfys told Morgana how awesome Judith is.

    [identity profile] magicalskeptic.livejournal.com 2010-02-15 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, now isn't Arthur as serious guilt issue with Morgana. She's actually really, really happy he's here because she was missing him terribly, but because she's almost stupidly self-sacrificial, she can't enjoy it because she thinks Arthur must go back to where he's needed.

She's also terrified something will happen to Arthur before he goes home (she's still assuming that's possible). Seriously, she would throw herself in front of a truck/ transport/ rampaging Godzilla for the boy.

Morgana will never tell Arthur any of this because she's never been entirely certain that she's ever been more than just a plaything Uther brought home for Arthur as a kid.

In short, in the tl;dr analysis, she's an idiot when it comes to the Crown Prince, even though she can play him like a violin (because, what good is a plaything that isn't fun to play with).

    *headdesk*

Forgot to type the last part of the analysis. It should read:

In short, in the tl;dr analysis, she's an idiot when it comes to the Crown Prince, even though she can play him like a violin (because, what good is a plaything that isn't fun to play with). Her biggest fear is that Arthur might, eventually, find her completely irrelevant.
