MEME HO!

That's a nautical term, ftr, like LAND HO! (which, due to the involvement of land, doesn't really sound nautical - but it totally is) but if you wanted to interpret it as 'this meme is brought to you by Dele, who is also a ho', well, I'm sure I would have difficulty finding anyone around here to strenuously disagree on my behalf. Anyway, I love this shit so, this show: let us get it on the road.

WELCOME TO TAXON'S CR MEME!
  • Comment to this post listing your characters.
  • Other people will then reply to your comment requesting some epic TL;DR about how your characters feel about theirs.
  • Maybe talk about how you feel, OOCly, about the direction of their interaction or what makes this CR really powerful, tragic, or perhaps just straight up wildly lulzy.
  • Since we p. much always have new folks coming in, if your characters are so new they still need spanking, feel free to use this as an opportunity to ~*discuss potential*~.
  • It will be epic.

  • Christopher Walken believes in the beautiful, unvarnished truth. Don't disappoint him, bbs.

CERTAINLY NOT THESE TWO although Glitch is more of a person, Judith will cut anyone who disagrees--and with that I segue into the actual tl;dr.

It's interesting for me as a writer how fast Judith transitioned from 'hating this place' to 'feeling protective of it', and this process was hugely accelerated by the kind of people she's interacted with - Glitch is the perfect example. She was obnoxious at him at first purely because she was having a mild temper tantrum, but then he popped up on her object post and she suddenly realized, with the distance of time and having calmed down, that he was actually a nice whatever-it-is-that-a-guy-with-a-zipper-on-his-head-is (Judith assumes he is some kind of fairy, not even kidding) and she had reason to apologize for more than the convenience of not having someone in this mystery unwilling to cooperate with her.

Judith is...really not used to people being decent in her general direction, and Glitch's earnestness is really endearing to her; she has dark echoes of that in her own determination to get things done. She was surprised by the fact that he (and a lot of other people) seem willing to let her take the lead on the matter at hand, and the trust in that is important for most people, but it's Hella Important to werewolves--they have whole sections of their werewolf law books dedicated to how those who lead respect those who follow, and vice versa. Glitch isn't a packmember, but he's definitely a person who now falls under the category of people whose safety she must ensure and whose expectations she wants to live up to. She also thinks it's really cool to have a smart friend, even if he is scatterbrained, because she secretly likes technology a lot. Judith has an affinity for people who seem kind of out of the loop, and Glitch does, so that just kicks up her liking of him to another level where she feels they have that in common and it's her job to be the champion of the weirdos and mutantbabbies of the entire universe.

I really want to develop this relationship more, at least in part because I did not expect it to be the kind of friendship that Judith would develop here and because it's so great - I just find them really charming whenever they talk, especially re: those brass buttons recently, and basically I'm going to stalk Glitch's posts and harass with werewolf forever unless you stop me right now. O_O

WELL, she's...slightly-less-than-half-right about the fairy thing /rimshot

Ahem! Weirdos and mutanbabbies everywhere thank Judith for her dedication, and Glitch will cheerfully talk gadgets with her if she'd like. There shall be epic ongoing amazing here, I think

(...I do not regret that icon. EVER.)
