(which, due to the involvement of land, doesn't really sound nautical - but it totally is) but if you wanted to interpret it as 'this meme is brought to you by Dele, who is also a ho', well, I'm sure I would have difficulty finding anyone around here to strenuously disagree on my behalf. Godric's feelings on Faith are very conflicted. Foremost, he still feels guilt about taking her blood without her permission, and would like to be able to make up for that somehow. Unfortunately, he has no idea how. He apologized, but that only counts for so much, and this may have a lot more to do with Godric's issues than any soreness Faith may still feel toward Godric.
The kicker to all of this is that Godric kind of likes Faith, despite himself. Though Godric thinks her bluster and overconfidence make her very foolish, he can't help but admire her attitude. She'd hate the comparison, but she has the same sort of fearless lust for battle that first brought Godric's attention to Eric. She has balls, and Godric can't help but respect that, even as he has to wonder why she seems to place so little value on her life.
On top of all this, let's just admit it, Faith was tasty. Like, really tasty. And he wouldn't mind another bite, but he knows it's not going to happen. He's stopped short of actually hatching Slayer blood, but he's thought about it.
Dawn:
Somehow, Dawn wormed her way under his skin. A big part of it is that Dawn never seemed to really fear him, and somehow managed to be nice to him even as she never hesitated to try and draw him out and make him do things as if she were in charge and not being held against her will. In the midst of all this, she never actually disrespected him. She managed to remind him that at his core, he is Godric, not just a vampire, and that the whole of him is not made up of his nature alone. That gave him all kinds of warm fuzzies and before he knew it, Dawn had a little piece of his heart.
Godric will humor Dawn in a lot of things he wouldn't with other people. She gets away with a lot of crap, and no one else has ever gotten so close to putting eyeliner on him. He wants her to be happy, and if someone tries to get in the way of that, he will smack a bitch.
