In an effort to boost morale, assuage boredom, and generally just be meddling as a horrible old aunt, the Aliens decided to attempt a glitch involving a few specific pairs matched based on their own version of an eHarmony profile (which, it should be noted, they filled out themselves instead of giving to the residents). River and Glitch got matched, and thus babby was programmed. This has since been widely regarded as a bad idea, and the Aliens are still apologizing.

E: Three Random Facts
1. When Nemo was a baby, River took to parenting about as well as could be expected. Meaning, she stared at it most of the time and told Glitch what the tiny thing wanted. Their system actually worked out pretty well. 2. She is, in fact, smarter than her parents and twice the cheeky brat. 3. One time when she was about 15, Nemo hacked into the tablets to call the Aliens and knocked out all inter-city communications for about a week. That week she spent hiding somewhere in Serenity's engine room.

River, for an extended period of time, was sane thanks to a glitch. Some of that time, with Billy back in the city, the two of them had a chance to bond without the overwhelming crazy getting in the way. She went back to her normal self eventually, tried to lick his face on a couple different occasions, AND WELL. Let's just say Simon was very, very upset.

E: Three Random Facts
1. Little Bo made his first ray gun at the tender age of 6 and promptly used it to knock down a very important support beam in some random building he was playing in. Bo escaped unscathed, but the Aliens actually contacted River and Billy to make sure they'd see to it not happening again. 2. This is, hands down, the most socially awkward child in the history of Taxon. 3. Despite his mother's best efforts, he has two left feet. She wrote it off to bad genes somewhere in Billy's family history. This is the only fight Bo ever witnessed between his parents (usually he is being taken care of by much more capable people, like Sol (HAHAHA)) and it consisted of mocking little chipmunk voices and River throwing socks at Billy's head.
Whenever questioned, River simply looks over at Hermes and goes "Ask him." No one has gotten a straight answer and the entire ordeal has been written off by most as 'lol aliens.'

1. She is, in one word, a terror. 2. By the time she turned eleven, she'd petitioned the Aliens for an entire litter of puppies. Mostly just to see if she could. 3. Once, Antigone flew Serenity. Bumped the ceiling a bit (she forever claims that was intentional, thanks), nearly crashed into at least one castle (she doesn't remember which but swears it jumped out in front of her), and landed safely on top of the arrival Sanctuary. River was very proud.
