C. Alcohol -> commiseration -> more alcohol -> sex. Mordred's luck being what it is, the genderswap glitch hit him the very next day, and by the time that got sorted it was a little late.

E1. Subject to intense mixed messages on the subject of his ~illustrious descent~ from day one, he is wildly reluctant to discuss it with strangers; since Taxon has the sentient population of a small town, everybody knows anyway, which doesn't incline him to be less shy.
E2. Aside from that he's surprisingly well-adjusted! since if Dad's having a particularly crazy day he can always... go stay with other Dad.
