WHA HAPPEN.
Okay so, as you might have noticed, the Doctor set us up the bomb. Immediately, the game burst forth into a typhoon of activity, and it's SUPER COOL and everyone is being rad and building CR and having lulz, but basically nothing in these posts is happening in chronological order.
I am going to try and sort it. ….Because I'm insane, I guess.
STEP ONE:CUT A HOLE IN THREATEN TO EXPLODE THE ENTIRE CITY.
● Ground zero, in which the Doctor reveals his plan to ransom Taxon and every living person therein to thehamsters alien overlords. Either they let everyone go, or everyone dies. Mysteriously, most of the citizens don't see how this is a brilliant move, and arguments ensue. There are two amazing pages chock-full of exchanges ranging from laughter, threatening, swearing, time travel debate, heartbreaking pleas to live, and so forth.
STEP TWO: GET THE FUCK OUTTA DODGE AND ALSO A TIM.
● The Brucolac, utilizing his moonship, graciously offers to scoop up anybody down below and keep them safe from the bombs. The Doctor doth protest too much and the vampire captain tells him where to stick his radiation.
○ Here is an open rp post for folks on the Brucolac's ship!
● Tim Drake-Wayne arrives in Taxon for the first time and generally is like “Well, fuck my actual life.” TIMING, HE HAS IT.
● In this thread, Bruce hands over the veritable keys to his mansion to Cat, after which there is an open post for anyone who ends up there – the actual post so far is mostly placeholders for later on, but here it is anyway.
● Cameron opens up Cheyenne Mountain as a safe zone.
STEP THREE: FASTER THAN A SPEEDING BULLET, SHIT GETS REAL.
● Vala is the first victim in the explosions, but a heroic medic is on hand!
● Judith makes an open post that has A TON OF SCENES IN IT that all take place at different times – basically this post was a big old tank for stuff that needed to get done so that we wouldn't flood the comm with a skrillion posts. Some of it will get linked in other places, but as for the start of the effort to stop the disaster, these important things go on in here:
○ Judith and Godric are terrifying.
○ Judith and Dean have a Very Special Moment.
○ Judith and ENFYS have a Very Special Moment.
○ Holmes and Watson are unleashed onto the unsuspecting population.
○ Amidst the chaos, Jack takes a moment to pray. (warning: animal death)
○ Stefan gets a little too intimate with a bomb.
○ A pair of caped crusaders disarm the bombs left in the wake of the robot-destruction and get yelled at for it.
○ Glitch gets blow'd up. :(
● Morgana awakens and goes to confront the Doctor. The events of this scene have an impact on a lot of other stuff, most notably the Doctor blowing up more bombs and people listening in to Morgana's side of the exchange and figuring out some important details! It carries on into somewhere else but that'll come up in a second; for now just know that it started.
● Sam is not having a wonderful day.
● Tara, previously doing okay, suddenly finds herself in a less than awesome situation, but fortunately has a knight in undead armor!
● Leila makes an announcement that she is using her technology to create a safe zone, and calls for volunteers. This is another open post situation where stuff starts happening in a weird order, so I'll try to consolidate it again.
○ Various people check in, while Leila and Sol prepare.
○ Mohinder LEAPS into action!
STEP FOUR: NOW YOU'RE JUST BEING CONFUSING.
Okay, here's where the threads really start to connect funny and jump around.
● River contacts Leila. In between where the visual tag ends and the location one begins, River has her brain mucked about with by the Master. Continuing in the first link, River flips out, but Sol manages to subdue her while Bruce and Leila go to disarm what they think is a bomb. Turns out it's not, and they watch that in-progress one-sided broadcast of Morgana's I mentioned up there, and they head out to where she is.
● Meanwhile, Drusilla meets up with the Master, Penny hates everything, and Doctor Watson makes himself useful. (OOC organization post!)
● The not-actually-a-bomb-squad bomb squad finally arrives at Sanctuary For All, where Morgana had gone to confront the Doctor. ONCE MORE we have a lot of shit going down in this post, and while it started off fairly in order it's beginning to spread its tentacles out haphazardly so here we are again, in sequence:
○ The Doctor chimes in and gets some totally mature responses from Bruce and Sherlock, and Sagramore pops his head in with his thoughts as well!
○ AT THE SAME TIME: Back in that post linked earlier where Morgana and the Doctor were doing stuff that I said had a bunch of importance throughout? In there, Morgana goes inside the building just in sight of everyone at the scene, and slaps him, LIKE A BOSS.
○ BYE BYE BOYS! HAVE FUN STORMING THE CASTLE! Judith joins the rescue party and they follow Morgana inside.
○ The Calvary in the form of Nightwing, Robin, and one very bemused Sherlock Holmes arrives.
○ ULTIMATE BATTLE OF ULTIMATE DESTIN--okay, no, Judith tackles the Doctor, Bruce and Sol evac with their respective unconscious ladies, Leila DOES SCIENCE, and the calvary from above joins the scene to make sure no fatal injuries occur! Judith secures the Doctor and passes him to Dick and surrenders his belongings to Sherlock while Leila and Tim clean up the radiation.
□ Related: After the 'arrest', Dick asks where they can keep the Doctor, and Lady Petrana offers her castle, while some emergency prison guards are arranged.
○ Outside, Morgana and River are stabilized, Bruce corrals Enfys, Enfys abducts Trixie, and Bruce and Enfys fuck off to get more work done while Trixie and Sol prepare to work on Morgana and River. Yes all that really happens there.
○ Enfys lassos herself a Dean to drive a vehicle and they are both very safe and sterile while doing so.
● Hey remember Penny hating everything? Bruce is getting her moved, so that's one bright spot.
STEP FIVE: TIME TO BREAK OUT THE GOOD BOOZE.
Ladies and gentlespoons: the aftermath.
● The Brucolac continues to be insufferably useful and puts fires out.
● Godric is ALIVE! And asking for a damage report.
● Cat makes Open Wayne Manor Post Mach 2 for anybody who's going to end up there. A lot of people do, including:
○ Penny finally arrives, after which Jack helps set up some stuff, and Tara and Stefan, who can't decide who should get medical attention first.
○ Trixie kicks ass and takes names by rolling up and getting to work, and it's noted that Morgana and River are now being cared for at the Manor.
○ Enfys takes her assignment very seriously and goes about very politely cajoling some more doctors into assisting the triage, including Doctor McCoy, and also Doctor Watson, who both adore the bike.
○ Like all good post-disaster stories, we've got GRATUITOUS MAKEOUTS! Like this one, with Dean and Judi-- oh wait no sorry that's actually emotional horrors and vomiting blood, er-- how about Sol and Leila-- fuckdamnit that turns into more horrors and Godric coming to save River's brain. How about Bruce and Cat? Oh, man, that's just angst and misery too. LOOK IS ANYONE GOING TO PUT OUT PROPERLY? All right, here, let's try Judith and Enfys, who seem to manage it, and hey, it's
□ Related: While Godric is helping River, Sol takes a minute to go totally wreck the Master for screwing with her. This is actually kind of notable but because it interrupts another thread I have to shove it in here. Anyway Sol does indeed return to the Manor after and all is well! Unless you are a Time Lord. For now.
○ And because we need a happy ending: Sol, Leila, and River.
AND THAT'S ALL SHE WROTE, FOLKS. The plot's winded down, and anything else related to it I assume you can figure out on your own. Shit blew up, people blew up, the Doctor got tackled, and folks are gettin' stitched back together. If you backdate anything or want something noted plz tell me and I'll put it in!
ALSO IF I MISSED ANYTHING OR SCREWED ANYTHING UP PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME I WILL FIX IT. I am not affiliated oocly in any way with the planning of this plot, that is all 100% MJ (the Doctor), kickin' ass and driving the huge CR-mobile, but I figured since I know I got dizzy at least once trying to play catch-up that I might as well make a record.
