To begin with, we're going to need a place to put them. I'm scouting for one of those, though, and I think if we have the smaller items required to make a gurney I can ideally get started on putting some together.

Don't you get to keep Penny a while, though?

The girls I'm not concerned with. It's the place turning into an open-door hospital that bothers me.

Yeah, I guess they just didn't know where the hell else to go, but--that's just a sign this place really needs a working system, at least medically. The rest I can leave to people who know better. I think I've inadvertently gotten myself into hospital administration.

You're not. I mean, it's a damn big house, but it is, y'know, a house, and this is all really impromptu and a house is not the same as a secured, sterilized facility. God forbid someone needs surgery at some point.

The fact that I'm a person with opinions and loyalties, as well, means putting something as vital as centralized medical care in my private residence is asking for trouble down the line.

That's probably the smartest move, unless you want parts clawed off. He's kind of grouchy after having been in his kittycrate for so long, and the new surroundings aren't helping any.

Not to mention, you know, the fact that I'm injured and basically physically unable to restrain him.

You could do that, yeah, but it'd probably be best if you did that while also showing him some dudely respect, otherwise he'd just assume you're patronizing him or something.

Speaking of "whenever I come in the room", you're probably not gonna find me much fun to visit for another week or so, until speaking makes me feel less like death on rollerskates.
