I'm sorry. I'll stop spamming the community once I can actually sleep. But anyway, Ax owes the Master a favor, and we were thinking of cashing it in as a request to spy on one or more people in Taxon. Obviously this is something to be coordinated with the party being spied on, and obviously there are quite a few possibilities as to who it might end up being (Wes, Cordelia and the gang? Martha? etc.), so I thought the best thing to do was to just ask all those who clearly are working against the Master.

Anyone want their character(s) to be spied on by Ax, for the Master? :) Let's discuss!

The spying would probably be in the form of a fly or a cockroach hidden somewhere. Ax is very experienced at this, so he'll just be an inconspicuous bug somewhere while you... do whatever it is the gang is doing.

I just said this to Emma below, but maybe it could be Martha, Wes, and Cordy (and whoever else wants in) getting together, just for maximum espionage log fun?

Also, I guess we'd need to figure out what exactly Ax overhears, whether he is successful, what useful info comes out of it, and many other similar phrasings! :D

I mean, personally, I envision him being successful, then when the Master turns out to know everything that's going on, everyone can be like "how the hell does he know that" and then he'll be busted. Though obviously if you want it to go differently that's fine.

Soooo at the moment I'm not sure how the Master should phrase this request and therefore kick this off so it actually... works. I'm considering him just targeting Martha, because she's easy to discredit (grudgewank! she's a delusional ringleader! etc.) and maybe Ax can follow her to this big meeting or something. I dunno. Thoughts?

I'd suggest having the people meet again to see if the 'cloaking' technology from this thread (http://community.livejournal.com/taxonomites/392014.html) that they've developed actually works (like a testing meeting or something), but I'm not sure if the muns of the characters on that thread will want the Master to know that they've been doing that :| Also, how Ax/The Master will know about that meeting is... beyond me at the moment.

Well, having Ax just chance upon it by spying on Martha could work. Which is why I suggested Martha in particular. I just can't see the Master knowing to ask Ax to spy on the rest of the group without knowing that they're meeting to discuss him, necessarily. You know?

Yeah. Personally I'm okay with Ax knowing/spying about Cordelia anytime he wants. Spying on Cordy will probably be only secondary, or something, since technically she's not yet doing anything against the Master except for hating his very existence.
