Ok, so Jayne can and will be all over this! I believe he'll be in a group with Kaylee, Don, and Jason at some point? Also he can kick zombie ass along with River and they can have random plotty times if you're still up for that Gidget? With her seeing in his head and all that since they haven't met up in person yet.

If anyone else would like a big, gruff gun toting mercenary to help kill zombies/rescue them, lemme know.

He won't be getting zombiefied, however. While Jayne gets hurt a lot it's usually long range weapons like bullets and the like, so he won't let the zombies get close enough to him, given an adequate space to defend himself in. :D
