So, remember that plot thing I had planned

My brain has gone into Arghwhatismylife mode, and as per Keri's suggestion, I'm opening up a post for plotting and discussion and a general exchange of what people want to see happen/be part of happening.

So. Mick's not coping well with a) the sun, b) the hatched blood supply, c) all of the above, and is heading straight for a meltdown of if not epic, then substantial proportions.

I have two things in mind for his secret being revealed:

1) A handful of Extras being mauled over the course of the coming week - one or two each night, harmed but not to the point of dying. They'll be needing medical aid, but won't know what hit them. Of course, anyone with a pair of eyes will see the bite marks (actual bite marks, not two puncture wounds as in this instance my headcanon > canon convention. Yes, the incisors will leave a greater mark, but there should be bruising where the other teeth pressed into the skin (la la dorky blithering)).

2) Upon realizing there's no avoiding a blood frenzy, Mick will sequester himself in his apartment and issue a city wide emergency message, telling people how to keep themselves safe. Maybe even to the extent of how to kill him.

And this is where I want input: Details! The above is just the big picture, and I would love all of you to help in filling in the fine print, so to speak. Everything from establishing exchanges between Mick and your characters that have happened "off screen" to scenes directly connected to the revelation. I want it all. Hit me with your best shot. No idea is too silly/trivial/oh but she won't like this!

Without you guys, Mick's plot will just be two posts of me narrating the crap out of things, and that's not what I want. I want interaction and relationships forged in times of morally dodgy circumstances (and any other kind of context too)! I want all your ideas and input.

Helen has an alternative 'medicine' should he want it? She'll know something funky's up given the bite marks (and her vampires aren't exactly the two fangy type either). Not sure how well the 'medicine' would work on him but its an option?

Mick would grab all the medicine in the world if it worked - and I think it could be a fun plot line for us to develop. Mick and Helen working on adapting her medicine to fit his physiology over a course of however long it would take? And whether they can develop a "cure" or not, we'll decide on later. In Moonlight, there is a cure that temporarily removes the symptoms of vampirism, but it's increasingly rare, and at his canon point, Mick has never heard of it.

Just the possibility would be more than he could ever have hoped for. So, in short: YES PLEASE :D

PPS: Moonlight is so silly sometimes. In the very first episode, it's established that the iconic Two Puncture Wounds type vampire bite is...hocus pocus, nonsense. And just a few short episodes later, a genuine vampire bite is depicted as...Two Puncture Wounds side by side.

So...Yeah, I'm ignoring that SO HARD. XD

I am, as usual, up for all the horrors. I could even do a post with either of my guys finding a nommed Extra and going from there.

ALSO since I'm apparently never getting to it we can say that befuddled double-taking between Glitch and Mick happened at the luncheon (unless you really really wanna be backtagging that until next year >.< ). Fitz also met him there, and he has been doing his snooping/stalking as he does with everyone.

As for point 2, I am still thinking of Glitch doing something utterly stupid in the name of trying to help one of the few people left in the city survive. Because he's a dumbass.

Willow is always open for finding Extras / confronting / protecting / whatever. She needs to do more. (though it may need to wait on my end until this whole laptop / harddrive thing is sorted, which will... hopefully be next week! <3 )

I hope you get everything sorted out soon! I know your pain. My PC crashed last year, and my friends helped me put together what I called a Frankenstein's monster PC out of spare parts and the case. It took a while to get everything under control again.

Caroline's a vampire herself, so she'll probably want to reach out to him when he's locked himself in his apartment. Maybe get him to feed on bunnies. So he's got an ally in her, most definitely.

Piper ... will probably threaten to blow him up or freeze him continuously if he's a lovely dude. She could try a few spells and potions? But it really depends on how he approaches it/when she comes in as to how she acts. If she becomes aware when he's sending out the emergency message, she'll probably be Nice Piper with the freezing and potions and stuff.

Fun thing I found out on watching the entire show again, after apping and everything? Moonlight vamps can survive on animal blood...but it's revealed in, like, the third to last episode. I say revealed when I mean 'throw-away comment'.

But I'm sticking to my guns re: human blood. :3

Oh, gross. I hate it when things like that happen. Either introduce it as a thing or don't introduce it if you're not going to work with it properly. That's a big thing to introduce, too.

If you want to bring in the animal blood, Caroline can take him under her wing and do what Stefan did for her. Teach him the ways of the bunny? I know Caroline's trying to avoid being a vampire and this will make her confront her little issues.

Assuming Gwen has shamelessly flirted with him offscreen, and I do, I feel like she'd be oblivious he's a vampire so it's something that'll come as a surprise.

As for the Big Revelation, I'd love for Gwen to be involved somehow but I don't really know how, since she's only really known one vampire and he never went all hermit/crazy. Even if she came across a bunch of Extras I don't think she'd get all detective about it, and she'd leave that to other people.

It is rather what makes Gwen so charming, her ubiquitous flirting. Mick's charmed, for sure. And won't like having to drop a bomb of awkward over everything. Oops, I lied is never a nice thing to say.

You know...if anyone is right for the job of breaking and entering the vamp's lair, Gwen's the one. And she'd be relatively safe from uncontrollable vampy feeding urges. What with the live currents. :3

I love how this will inevitably arouse suspicion in the TVD crowd as they no doubt think this is Katherine's doing - TVD vamps also have that symmetrical, round bitemark (http://www.homeofthenutty.com/vampirediaries/screencaps/albums/VD1x16/116VampireDiaries0024.jpg) with a subtle emphasis on the canines.

I was going to out Katherine earlier this month but due to my own fail I... didn't, sob. I'll do that sometime next month, she'll first wait and see what becomes of this ~new vampire~ thing. She'd definitely be in the "encourage" camp with Drusilla, no doubt. Or she might try to play both sides for her own amusement. It's a toss up sometimes with her. :|

To sum it up, I have... no solid ideas, but I'd surely love to get Katherine involved with this, even if only in a heckling, smirk-from-the-sidelines role.

Don't feel bad about not revealing Katherine, no failing. Real life happens, and maybe this will work out too. She can decide what to do and how to do it depending on how Mick's received. (...and oh dear, all the enabling vampire girls are enabling, it seems XD) I'm still looking forward to the opportunity for her and Mick to argue the pros and cons of vampirism.
