HOW'S TAXON'S DRIVING!

It is time again for a discussion on how the game is doing! There have been a lot of changes since we last did this, and your mods are eager to hear what’s working, what isn’t, and what you’d like to see in the future.

We’d like to start with a huge THANK YOU to everyone, for those of you who have stuck around these last few months, the new people who have come in, and our returning members. This game belongs to the players, and we are constantly thrilled by what you do with it. All of you are amazing, and we’re proud to be your mods.

As we're holding off on the invasion plot for now, there is going to be a new - and permanent - aspect to the city which will serve to advance the metaplot. There are still some lingering effects in the city’s programming from the Other Alien’s hack job back in August, and combining them with the stress of the fairy tale AU event is going to result in...more weirdness than usual. Spooky weirdness. Basically characters will have the opportunity to see some familiar faces and places, both with a decidedly sinister spin. This will, in time, lead to the chance for discovering more about how the Taxon works, and maybe some answers for why everyone has been brought here.

More details will come as December approaches!

GLITCHES / EVENTS: Take a look at our list of potential glitches and pick a few which interest you, or suggest others not included. Also feel free to give us a general idea of the types of events you wish to play out - silly, serious, metaplot-related, more contact from the aliens, etc. Additionally, how do you feel about the log-style posts for major events?

ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: As you know the current requirement is one open-to-all post per character per month. The thinking behind this is that it will give everyone plenty of things to respond to, but we do understand that there can be problems with this. We are certainly open to suggestions for handling activity checks - in an ideal world we’d like do away with them altogether - so your input is always welcome!

ANYTHING ELSE: Really, any and all topics are up for discussion. This post is anon-enabled and IP logging is off, but if you feel the need for more privacy the suggestions and complaints posts are always available with comment screening. If there’s something you feel we promised to work on changing that hasn’t yet been changed, please, tell us. We always want to improve.

Log-post worked perfectly afaik. I loved it! Much easier to stalk read. As for glitches: A Mid-season Night’s Dream, School Daze of Our Lives (SHUT UP I JUST WANT TO DO I'M NOT OKAY!PARTY POISON), EM-ergency, Dinosaaaaaurs. Mostly leaning towards Mid-season and EM-ergency yesss.
