There absolutely MUST be an unbelievably awkward "Hey. So. I dated your first true love's/ex's son." conversation between Buffy and Gwen. Despite Gwen being kinda anti-people and anti-hero and a smartass sometimes, I think she and Buffy might get along as long as she's not being a bitch to Buffy boasting about kissin' Angel that one time or anything. I could totally see them finding common ground with the "power I didn't ask for" thing.
