How's My Driving: Player (And Game) Edition!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to those who celebrate! Remember: don't drink and how's my drive.

This is a combined player and game HMD, which means your mods are going to be begging for feedback. We're feeling a little disconnect and want to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves as much as possible. Specifically we're looking for feedback on the Haunted Holo plot, and what we can do in the future to make such large-scale plots more accessible.

It's also an HMD for our characters! Please comment here with the names of the characters you play and others will reply with their feedback- and it's obviously a given that this feedback will be helpful, constructive and respectful. Also, as amazing as getting ILU comments is, it's nice to hear why and what we're doing right just as much as criticism needs to be constructive. Participation is also entirely optional, and if you have any issues just let a mod know and we'll help out as much as we can.

Anonymous commenting is enabled and IP logging is off for your convenience should you require it!

I don't tell you often enough, but I've loved your take on Party since he first burst onto the scene. I think historically there's been some sort of stance on not allowing characters from such relatively narrow mediums as music videos, along with video game and anime characters and whatnot. I don't know. But what I do know is that you paved the way for a more open comm, and you did so with aplomb and panache and lots and lots of IC troublemaking.

I love that Party's such an anarchist, that he rages against the machine and big brother in his own particular brand of post-apocalyptic self righteousness. He'll cover the city in graffiti given half a chance and bomb the living Hell out of the hamsters if given just a fraction of a shot.

He's gutsy and brave and brazen and just a rollercoaster of messed up emotions and blink-of-an-eye decision-making.

He's also sweet, and strong and empathetic, and a bit of an arrogant punk. He's damaged goods, but he isn't broken, and I love how you portray that. I love his sort-of father-son type of relationship with Cain, his borderline idolizing Mick (who always feels a little bit more like an actual person when the kid's around), and you know I sekritly ship him and Bagoas in all kinds of ways.

I will be heartbroken forever and a day if he fades from your inner musebox. There. I said it.

My one sliver of advice is, if you feel bogged down by tags or plots that drag along, just communicate that in the monthly SOTT. It's better to handwave stuff and get onto new and (hopefully) exciting plots than ending up feeling guilty for losing momentum.

You know what? I think I'll take that piece of advice to heart, myself.

So rock on, ladybug. You're totes milkshake.
