Island Plot Wrap-up!
Whew! What a long, strange trip it's been, and because of reasons we're going to be wrapping this sucker up a bit early on 5 July. Still, there is time for the aliens to toss one more bit of cliched tropical-themed shenanigans!

Those awake and attentive late at night might have heard drumming from the dark, mysterious depths of the jungle. Explorers of the temple may have happened upon strange idols, and a mural depicting a blood-red moon and warriors driving a rival tribe into the sea.

The figures in these images? The source of the distant drumming? Hamsters. Pygmy warrior hamsters, three feet tall and wielding weapons the size of barbecue tools.

On the night of 4 July the moon shall turn a lurid red, the large hamster idol/hatch will begin glowing, the drumming shall be inescapable, and the temple will be lit with countless torches. SUDDENLY: the war cry of scores of squeaky voices shall sweep into camp, herding the castaways into the jungle which is now riddled with traps such as snares and pitfalls.

By morning, all will be driven to the far side of the island, where they will be met by...a barge. A party barge, manned by Extras, offering safe passage back to Taxon. There will be tropical music, drinks, snacks, a limbo contest, and by early afternoon the city will be in sight (thanks to the aliens doing some quick programming from one cavern to the next). Happy reunions all around, and showers for everyone!

Recently: Goodness. Glitch moved out of the Northern Island in early May and into this charming house in Osten. On a very busy day he hung out with Maddie, went unicorn hunting with Ashley, took Bagoas on as an apprentice and there was some dancing, worked on Scott's visor, agreed to help Arthur (and thus Ariadne) with the PASIV because Arthur was a LYING LIAR about what it did. He freaked out over the aliens bringing in tinies, talked interior design with Long...

...and then was sick and miserable on the boat where he had his bi-annual conversation with Paul, griped about aliens with Scott, was a powder monkey, and eventually had to be forcibly chucked overboard encouraged to abandon ship by Buffy. On the island he went swimming naked and somehow managed to get Bagoas to join him, helped make A Thing Of Some Description to reconnect the tablets with those int he city (post on that forthcoming), and did a lot of laying around, tanning, and growing a beard. Good times.

Future Plans: I got nothing as usual, BUT: post plot? Party. There needs to be a party, idk if other people are planning one but Glitch will be all over that. Um. Come at me!

Type of CR You Want: ANYTHING really, it's all good, I wish to be challenged~

Other Notes: SO GUYS I am going to be hiatus'd for two weeks this month, from the 11th to the 23rd-ish due to travel and excitement (lol I'm going on a long boat trip, whoops) so godmoding rights will go to castmates.

ANYWAY. Ariadne isn't the most tech savvy of people, but she would honestly love to learn about things. So perhaps with him tinkering on the PASIV stuff, we could find a way for her to learn about things as well as the PASIV more.

Glitch, she just wants to be friends with you and wonder what type of projection you are.

Recently: He's learned that he has a heart! And it may have well grown three sizes one day on the cruise. That said, the details of his life recently.

Josef got a roommate, told Mick about Sarah, exchanged letters in two languages with Bagoas and managed to flirtmake friends with Maddy.

Future Plans: I want to Glitch one of the muses I have, and considering Josef but not sure what. That said, he's going to throw a party eventually, just so he can dress up Buffy, Maddy and Jason.

Not to mention plans to have HUGE age gap misunderstanding with Bagoas because meta aim toying around can be bad.

Type of CR You Want: Up for a lot. He may end up asking Maddy out, because he can. Also up for fighting with those he has irritated, or who find him irritating.

Recently: Azkadellia met a nice wizard who offered to teach her. Then he went in hiding. He came out of hiding and comforted her when everyone went poof. She's hoping to learn latin and has found a would be father type figure in Cain due to him being nice to her and all. Also tried to confused Eames. Accidentally.

Future Plans: Learn Latin. Meet Smecker. Get her life messed up more somehow.

Recently: She's been on a pirate ship! And an island! And the hatches only give her ridiculous clothes. Beyond that, she fought a kraken with Scott and got to know Josef. It has been pretty neat.
Future Plans: Huh. I don't have anything right now, but there has been mention of some possible Scott plotty things that she would be a part of, most certainly. Beyond that, hopefully she'll continue to grow more comfortable in her own skin.

Recently: Spike fed on Scott! He was not expecting that at all and that will certainly make things interesting with Buffy - which we're trying to figure out as well.

Recently: Scott was in his element, in the middle of a crisis which involved a giant kraken. He sort of wants to stay living on the island. He also donated to the vampire feeding effort with Spike and earned himself the nickname "Captain" despite his protests.
Future Plans: Plans for a glitch inspired by recent canon events are in the making.
Type of CR You Want: Anything. I'm having problems with Scott and need to try and bully him into investing emotionally in something here.
Other Notes: Having recently concluded Scott is suffering from horrific levels of PTSD and disassociation and refuses to actually emotionally connect to this place, I've found the basis of my issues with him. If anyone has any suggestions for helping to fix him, I'd love to chat.

Recently: Remus got freaked out and became a total recluse. Azkadellia managed to convince him that he's being a bit of a twit.

Recently: Raziel got a pirate hat. He also started teaching Arya to fight and kill and maim (and nicknamed her little cobra in his own head). He attempted to cook kraken and then made friends with Mick by finding him somewhere to hide for the day that didn't involve becoming a water logged corpse.
Future Plans: Eventual glitch planned to turn him back to his winged, vampire self for a while.

Name: Bagoas | The Persian Youth, from the Alexander Trilogy | thepersianyouth

Recently: Flirting. Dancing. More flirting. Pen-paling to the nth degree with Josef, apprentice-ing and crushing on his mentor Glitch, breaking off his friendship with Remus for Reasons. Then ship and ocean and he was one of the happiest campers on there (learning SHIPS 101 from Jason and prepping food/cooking with Smecker, and getting on the rotational vampire feeding schedule) until the Storm hit, and then the Sea Monster, and then he had to jump in and get to shore and it was all very stressful.

And then there was some more dancing (more like victory dancing), and skinny dipping and talking and nekkid swimming lessons.

Future Plans: I'm planning on glitching him into an older self some time after the summer plot. Apart from that, I think it'll be more of the same. Flirting, collecting non-humans, showing Buffy around the bazaar...

I WANT BAGOAS+LONG, DIEN. ANYTIME. CHATTING AND TEA.

On a more long term scale, I'd love for him to one day set up a business of his own. Not sure what yet, but we'll see. I'm open for suggestions.

I have Romantic Interests covered, as well as Friends, but no Enemies or Frenemies yet. ...unless you count the fact he's INCREDIBLY uncomfortable around Jason Blood. I can't stress how much he does not want. (But I love that, so never mind me)

Other Notes: Next week my dear mother goes on holiday, and I'll be helping out a bunch all over the place getting stuff fixed. Better late than never Spring cleaning and so on and so forth. We'll see how much it impacts my availability, but more on that later.

Recently: He got to meet Kitten, teased Josef a lot. Then volunteered for ship's medic and supervised all the blood donations that weren't done via biting (in a very handwavey sort of way). Kicked some Kraken tentacle even if I never got around to tag that post, then had some fun in the sun (not) on the island. This mostly involved hunting critters for blood between donations, playing waterlogged dead body in his very own personal cenote, and talked philosophy with Long.

Future Plans: No plans. Woe.

Other Notes: Little known canon fact: He's a Star Trek fan.

Recently: He started fixing his new place. Met some new people, met some not-so-new people, made friends and not-friends. And then he woke up one morning to find the city almost entirely devoid of people. Not just people, but all the Extras too. Then followed a month of coping measures and not-coping-at-all, and setting an alarm clock for all his meal times. He wouldn't want to have his ass kicked into next year when his people get back AND THERE'S NO ALTERNATIVE THEY HAVE TO COME BACK. Ahem. There was also looking after Az, and more than happily letting her tag along on all the things.

Future Plans: Cain'll be cooking up a storm for Glitch's party. All the tasty, home made cooking you can eat, because the aliens are crazy and everyone needs to feel part of the damn community dammit. So cooking. And baking.

And aloe vera rubs for a certain flaky someone.

Type of CR You Want: I want anything coming Wyatt's way. He can be abrasive even on a good day, but he's ultimately a good guy if you get past his knee jerk skepticism and borderline paranoia.

Other Notes: He's got nine lives. It's canon. Also, when canon reviewing last weekend I noticed he uses his left hand for a lot of little stuff. Now he's sort of ambidextrous in my headcanon.

Recently: I've finally, finally, been managing to shake my funk with Paul Paul's funk a little I think. Hopefully this is not false hope. He's met some new people-- Raziel, Maddy, others I am probably forgetting (lo siento), and cooked up a storm on the ship. He also thinks he needs to have a long talk with Glitch about that best friend of his who he's screwin'.
Future Plans: Probably more cooking. Paul's rightly or wrongly figuring that the influx of super-types can handle saving the day and is focusing on his more mundane skills. And a dinner with the OZ crew sometime maybe? And if Paul hasn't met your character yet, let's fix that!
Type of CR You Want: Paul makes enemies just fine by being his grumpy, snarky little self. And obviously not everyone will want to be friends with him. ^____^ But I'm up for anything and everything. He needs to do something ~fabulous~, he hasn't in a while. Any girls (or guys?) want a makeover?
Other Notes: He runs every morning, well most mornings anyway. I'm always up for an early morning jogging encounter.

Recently: Let's see. Long puttered around the Sanctuary until he got bored of it and moved into the Kelebek Hotel instead. He's chatted with a number of peeps lately, and is probably going to start teaching Latin to Azkadellia, the offer open to anyone curious. He got put on the ship and was fairly (if quietly) smug about being one of the few Taxonites to have a complexion better suited to the tropical sun you silly white people. Of course he hated the ocean but, sun was okay.
He donated blood to Mick, wagged his brows lecturingly at Josef, procured tea, and got drunk maybe with Gwen (Steph I so WANT that thread but my own slowness means the ship maybe has sailed, I'll try and PM you or something).
Future Plans: Long is one of my most chill characters, which is good in some ways but horrible in others, because he's perfectly content to let life in Taxon kind of pass him by as long as he books and tea. There's been things to shake him up, like, well, dying at Gwen's hands for instance, and I guess in terms of overall arc I'd like him to become more engaged with other people and their problems (which follows his canon arc, except that I snagged him to Taxon before all of that happens to him), becoming more, well, human. And also possibly having talks about what he really is with some people in Taxon, if anyone's up for fairly self-indulgent stuff there on my part.

Jason I-know-you-are-but-what-am-I Blood

Recently: He arrived in Taxon, and was almost immediately thrown onto a ship. He has thus had a suitable initiation, although his reaction is just to lineface at anything forever so yeah.
Future Plans: Obviously, meeting more people, exploring Taxon, and you all know Etrigan will get out at SOME POINT fo' sho'. That'll be down the road a bit though.
-He wants to talk to Azkadellia and see if her magic can trigger his transformation; other magicky types too, but Az is the only 'witch' he knows of yet
-Once back from the boat glitch he's going to be finding a place to live and doing some wards on it. As Jason practices magic that tends to the bloody, if not outright dark, there is going to be a broadcast of wicked looking knives and blood in bowls and that sort of thing, feel free to toss your various muses and their reactions at that wackiness.
Type of CR You Want: HAHA well, Jason is not really a people person, as I'm sure everyone has seen. Although I've been interested to note that he tones down the asshole coldness a few degrees when dealing with females; I guess chivalry dies hard whether or not he wants to admit that.
Anyway. I'm up for whatever, although abrasive distance is probably the most likely reaction his attitude will merit.
Other Notes: I'm working on scanning in one of my favorite appearances of Jason and Etrigan in the comics, and will link it in his bio once done, since it does a pretty good job establishing the basics of his character, and also, Alan Moore, so, yeah. IDK.

Name: Ariadne | Inception | build
Recently: Ariadne arrived at Taxon from her jump in Limbo during the film, so she has been fairly sure, she is still in a dream and perhaps was just thrown deeper into limbo (or some type of hell – she never got the cliffnotes for this type of thing). So pretty much she has been running around, sketching as much of the layout that she could in the central part of town, all while pissing off a good handful of people with the insinuation, they aren't doing anything about going home.

Recently though, she moved into the upstairs area of a cute blue townhome in Shelley with Arthur. Where she was for the most part, trying to get things the way she liked it – that is until she was suddenly paused glitch and woke up pissed off and confused.

As far as the recent plot, i've sort of have been a total fail on that, with life becoming slightly busy. But I'm going to hopefully try to toss her into a few things today/tonight/when I don't have to do twenty things as once.

Future Plans: GOSH. There is a lot I would like to do with her. Mostly I'm hoping she will try and create her own full set of maps – exploring all of Taxon that she can. But what I would really like to work on, is her being able to get past the whole this is a dream things she has set in her mind. Because let's be honest, her thinking it's a dream has made CR hard to stick, as she is clearly not knowing how to fully respond to everyone that is a projection. So people really are getting a guarded Ariadne, when in fact, she is a fairly open girl and has a lot to offer when given the chance. SO HELP ME DO THIS?! :)

Eventually – down the road – I would also love to see her put her architectural skills to use in some form. As in her headcannon, her family is in construction back home, so she really is good at remodels and would love to get her hands dirty with this sort of thing.

Type of CR You Want: Any and ALL. I know Ariadne is slightly guarded right now, and tends to only ask questions while avoiding talking about herself. But really, she could use a few friends and people she butts heads with. In time, people will hopefully learn she is a nice girl – she just will take a bit to get there and hopefully people are willing to put up with her for a bit.
Other Notes: I have been super slow since coming back from vacation and for that I'm sorry, as we're in the process of trying to sell our house, so things are a bit slower/stressful then I would like. But as long as you are willing to backtag, I will backtag forever and will seriously handwave whatever as well. Just let me know. I seriously would love all the CR I can get. ♥

I'm happy to try and help get Ari acclimated! Do you have any suggestions on what would be convincing to her in terms of getting past the 'dream' perception? Because coming from her canon, there's really not a whole lot else she could think, so it's an understandable misperception on her part.

Recently: She got to Taxon, didn't understand technology things/the tablet, definitely tablet-hung-up on a few people (Sorry, Glitch), found a place to stay at the Mansion with Scott, explored Taxon on her own a bit. Then she did the whole boat thing, met more people, found out Spike's a vampire and--once she was told WHAT it was--was not pleased. So she's pretty stabbity re:Spike. She didn't have much time to adjust before being thrown into the whole tropical island deal so for her, it's just Another New Place/New People she gets thrust into, time after time. She has no belief that they'll stay or that she'll stay.
Future Plans: Looking into wolf dreams a bit, exploring that feral side of her.
Type of CR You Want: OH MAN. I don't even know. I like the kind of fearful-distrust-yet-wary-like thing she's got going on with Spike. Because she initially liked him, then found out he was (at least in her mind, right now, not seeing the reformed side of it) Bad News, so still likes him yet will definitely try to kill him if he bothers her. I like something friends-y I suppose. IDK Arya's weird.
Other Notes: WAY WAY SLOW, GUYS. Like, going away every weekend and my window of tag time due to work is just tiny. ALSO I'd so love GOT people GET AT ME.

Recently: BOAT STUFF. There was a storm and she served as a conduit, kind of, to keep the ship from getting struck and stuff. I haven't done much wit her on the island yet, but she's helping with the tablet.
Future Plans: Electricity be damned, girlfriend will be getting straight up DRUNK at the party I think. I want to do more with her. Right now she knows a bunch of people, and that's okay, but the only ones she really has an "emotional" connection to is Long and Party Poison and Mick. It's a tough line, cause she's not really a big friendly-bond-y person.
Type of CR You Want: Whoops. See above. I always do that. Like I said, I'd like some sort of deeper connection. Maybe someone she'd even risk her neck a little bit to save. I'd like to see her and Sky get along.
Other Notes: I want to be around more! I'm so sorry for being lacking lately! I'll be lacking again next weekend for 4th of July stuff and also going on a vaca of sorts July 26th - 30thish, but that's not a huge deal.

If there's anything existing re: the plot that I need to be poked on, missing tags, or just something I haven't seen because I'm in and out and it's hard to catch up on absolutely everything, direct it my way!

Recently: She arrived, she's tried to get used to being on her own, she's trying to get some use out of all the alien stuff in Bannerman road without Mr. Smith there to run them, she was on a boat, she built a thing with Glitch, she got chased by hamsters. Has told a few people she's an alien genocide bomb.
Future Plans: Sky wants to help! So she should find people where her weird alien sensing powers can be used to do cool things, like build stuff, and study stuff. I have a half-baked idea for a glitch where she was never damaged, so her powers are at full force causing rolling blackouts and weirdness in the city.
Type of CR You Want: All the cute family-replacement CR. Sky is kinda codependent in that way.
Other Notes: ...I got nothing.

Name: Daphne Powell | No Ordinary Family | justdysfunctional
Recently: ...she arrived, then the city went dead.
Future Plans: She probably needs a job, and she will just go around peeking at everyone's thoughts regularly because... Daphne's a telepathic gossipy teenager. She probably should pal with the other paths to help poke at her missing memories and put her brain back straight. She also needs to find her own place in the city soon. A glitch idea I had is that her powers get replaced with those of one of her family members (my thoughts being her dad's so she can get angry at super strength breaking things).
