Another year, another trip to New Orleans! I'm leaving tomorrow evening and will be back on Tuesday and the hotel has internet but still. Yes.

Brief Hiatus!

Hey everyone!

Just giving you guys a heads-up that I'll be offline for a day and a half starting, oh... ETA: -2.5 hours.

Why?

Tomorrow is Sweden's equivalent to ze 4th of July. Minus the fireworks, plus a bunch of flag-waving and people marching to the tune of live orchestras and having picnics anywhere you can find a patch of green grass. Tomorrow, everyone (nearly everyone) gets the whole day off from work/school et.c.

Today? Today is the day before a national holiday falling on a workday. This means everyone (nearly everyone) gets half the day off.

Today? Today is my b-day.

Go Shorty, and so on and so forth.

Try not to burn the entire city down in my absence, okay? (Ettie? I'm looking at you, sweetie. B|)

O TAXON MY TAXON I am going away for a bit on a much-needed holiday (but isn't every holiday much-needed?). I'm departing tomorrow night and will be back Saturday the sixth, but because of jetlag I'll save my official return for the eighth.

I am going to see many things like this and this and will take loads of pictures since I'm pretty much going to the O.Z. Only it's Scotland. I may be a bit excited.

Speaking of hiatuses...

HI PEEPS I am going on a rather extensive holiday which will, aside from the occasional check-in, have me afk from July 11 - July 23. Things to know in advance of this:

± Apps are still CLOSED until July 21

± Glitch is going to be on autopilot for this time, so he'll be around town doing his usual thang. Precise godmode rights go to Sofo and Will as castmates but if there's any technical stuff that needs finalizing, ask me now!

± I am up for handwaving the resolutions to outstanding threads (and poking through a few upon my return) but for the sake of getting on with your characters' lives, if there's anything that needs to be established now is the time to let me know.

± I am going to be putting up a placeholder post before leaving, basically dealing with DG's departure. This is another thing I'll be getting back to.

± Don't burn the place down while I'm gone, Sof and Dien will be keeping an eye on it.

Weekend-long hiatus

I made it through every tag in my inbox yesterday excluding 5 or so threads that had been waiting for a response from me since the end of April. Unless anyone really wants to continue a thread that's waited that long, I'm gonna let those go. And if there's a thread I DIDN'T tag, please tell me so I can get to it; it means the notification wasn't in my inbox.

I'll be on full hiatus just till Monday, as opposed to the half-hiatus I'm on till July 7th. Off to Morocco for the weekend, and my computer's staying here! If you want Briar or Kitten anywhere new, leave a message here and I'll tag in when I get back.

Still tagging sluggishly. I am a snail, guys. About to be dragged out of my shell.

OFFICIALLY DECLARING MYSELF ON SLOWIATUS/BORDERLINE HIATUS.

Because... I've been slow as it is, but I leave for the airport in 12 hours to go to my study abroad program. If I ever accidentally write part of a tag in Spanish in the next month and a half, that means I've achieved fluency and started thinking in Spanish. (I'm ~~mostly~~ joking. Unless I'm really tired, I would notice the language switch. Really really tired.)

CAUSE I'M LEAVING ON A JET PLANE

So I’m going to call an official hiatus now, as I’m finally leaving on a much-needed vacation from the 10th to the 27th. Ariadne will of course be on a paused glitch and all godmodding rights will go to Arthur if need be.

Unexpected hiatus finally over.

Not sure what I missed but I have been out of commission for a while now. I am here now and getting both a plurk and myself in gear. I am so sorry to everyone I was trying to plot with and what not. If anyone can tell me what the status on January activity is so I can make sure I make it that would be amazing. I finally got all of my real life .... car wreck of a time in order and my tablet back so I can access internet again on a reliable basis.

Charles is going to be becoming extremely active about the city and getting into everyone's business with curiosity (and a hint of that paranoia he can't seem to shake.)

I'm sorry I didn't post a hiatus sooner than this. I hoped to get back to posting very soon, but then I got sick, and someone I was close to passed away. That on top of research paper season during the school semester has me pretty close to collapse, and I really can't cope with RP on top of it.
