There is the most adorable cat who wanders in and out of my room, whenever he wishes. What is the best way to make friends with him? I do promise to spoil him rotten as he so clearly deserves.

Also, what colours do you think would be good for this summer season?

These may not be life-altering questions, but I feel they are of the utmost importance.

I am assuming you're referring to Angus, as I don't think Bruce has any other cats since he doesn't strike me as a 'cat person', although "adorable" hasn't ever really been the foremost adjective used to describe him. "Huge" and "weirdly off-putting", maybe. But he is an attractive beast, I will give you that.

The best way to make friends with him is to give him respect, food, and tummy rubs, in that order. He pretends like he's got too much Cat Dignity to really enjoy tummy rubs, but he's faking. Generally when he's happy he'll flop onto his side or back, and that's when you can get him. It's like making a lion purr. Very satisfying.

Colors for this summer... You know, in Taxon, you could get away with just about anything, but something tells me you're not exactly a "fuchsia floral" kind of girl, so I was thinking of sticking with tasteful bright gemstone colors and staying sparse with the airy patterns, like maybe a subtle stripe here or there, but nothing too The Hills Are Alive, I mean you're like a princess or something, not a goatherd.

Angus, so that's his name. Well, I am well-accustomed to dealing with men whose dignity will not allow them to admit to preferred amusements, so I hope we shall get along famously. I'll just have to tell him what a regal-looking creature he is. You do not mind if I make friends with him?

As for your colour choices, I'm sure I would approve, as I do like bright, gem-like colours, but would you be offended if I asked for final approval before you started?
