GLITCH TIME
Okay! So! Here's the earth- /SHOT
Now that i am done being a massive nerd... >>;
while i was busy being a really bad student in school today, I wrote down a basic idea of what I think Willow's glitch ought to be like. Now, mods please tell me if this is over the top or whatever and I'll be up for changing it. I am flexible. Anyone else who's interested in being involved, especially non-canonmates, PLEASE SPEAK UP. I would love, love, love to have a lot of people involved :D
I'm thinking of doing this... in the next week or so, sometime before the zombie glitch and have it span about two or three days ICly. Because let's face it: no one wants this bad girl out there for longer than that XD TRUST ME. But, if that's too soon for you guys, it could also happen after the zombie glitch. Willow could just have YET ONE MORE REASON to be really angry with the aliens XD As if her current list isn't enough.
For right now and the next couple of weeks, Willow's going to be really, REALLY avoidant, yes, even to you, Tara. She's pretty much spending a lot of time outside and she doesn't want to come home until late and hardly turns up to work. Well, she does come to work, but she'll look a bit spacey. She's still angry, but she's keeping it inside for right now. Since, y'know, no one understands /woe. The point of this is so that when she finally gets glitched, she'll be really far away from everyone, probably deep in the forest, so that it'll be harder to figure out where she is. To make things more difficult, I was thinking maybe her witchy aura could ionize the atmosphere, so the tablets can't pick up where she's specifically located, just a general area. This way, our resident fingerprint master could go around figuring out where she's been and maybe a track on where she's going (if he's so inclined).
I don't think it'd be possible for her to be actually imprisoned and held that way (in canon, she took an axe to the back and didn't even blink, plus broke through prison walls like they were nothing), so I can see this ending one of two ways: Either she's killed (and I'm fine with this happening, complete with Sunnydale Library going bye-bye), or she's taken down the Xander way (which would probably have to be someone really close to her like Tara, Buffy, or Dawn).
For her motive during all this, I'm thinking she would probably be after everyone who doubted her magic or told her she couldn't do spells or that it was dangerous. So people she's had arguments about it with, like Faith and Long. Whether or not she actually finds them is entirely up to you guys. I'm also fine with villains getting involved, too, either to try fighting her or to coerce her into going after the hero-types as an ally-ish thing. Any hero-types are welcome to try to stop her / fight her. She won't hurt anyone she's not actively seeking, but she will defend herself.
SO... that leaves the how do we do this? I was thinking a general action post and then sub-threads for... say, people searching for her (hero-types), separate encounters with hero-types, encounters with villain-types, etc, and her final take-down thread.

I'm fine with Long being chased down by Willow etc, however...! Long is also going to have an upcoming glitch, in which (we can talk it on out) Willow may not even recognize him as Long, and if she does, well, she may or may not have second thoughts about wanting a confrontation? I suppose in her evil state she may be like 'DAMN THE TORPEDOES, full speed ahead' which will be...... ....so very interesting. Yes. Ahem.
As for PAUL AND PRINTS-- I'm totally willing to bring Paul into things, dependent on whether or not his print-fu is actually needed. Do you want to assume Paul got Willow's prints at Glitch's dinner, then? Failing that he is going to drop by Tara's shop anyway, so we could work with that.

Hmmm WHAT KIND OF INTERESTING. Because Willow is really stupidly souped up when she goes all Dark in canon. LET US TALK because I do NOT mind her getting beaten up a bit :3
I am totally fine with assuming he got her prints any way you'd like. I just kinda wanted to bring as many people in who want in and can help out as possible, so if he wants to help track her down and pinpoint where she's going, that'd be awesome :D

I up for Tara Xanderizing-her, if you want; she's at the dead center of the intersection between "people who told her to do less magic" and "people she'd never want to hurt," so you're welcome to play with that, if you want.
When she realizes the tablets won't work, Tara would want to do a location spell. I was thinking, so as not to steal Paul's thunder, Willow could be so powerful at this point it creates a bit of magical backlash and the spell fritzes, or it even causes Tara mild pain/temporary magic loss? I am up for discussing this.
ALTERNATELY if you decided to do it post zombies, I'm all for using Tara as a trigger - Willow mistakenly thinks she's hurt or dead, or something along those lines.
ALTERNATELY to the alternate, if it would be helpful to you, I am also fine with Willow finding out about Tara's upcoming death. The Buffycast clearly knows, as does DG, so we could discuss that. If she doesn't find out prior, it could come out in a Xander-speech, depending on how THAT goes.
This is exciting, and I'm flexible as ever, so let me know what you'd like!

That sounds good. The whole atmosphere ionization around Will at the time could probably make the spell malfunction.
Cool, I think it's been long enough for Will to find out about that. Either during the glitch or after it or during the Xander speech. Any of the above is fine with me XD
I'm still thinking of doing it pre-zombies, so if Dawn and Tara want Willow to help with the zombies, they'll have to drag her out of hiding XD But it will depend on how Long's glitch coincides, because I'd like for him to be around to notice what she's doing and I'm not sure what his will do exactly. But I'll keep everyone updated \o\ But if it DOES end up post-zombies, Tara would be an amazing trigger :D;

Basically, I want to make sure you get awesome CR with other people when/where you want it, but given Tara and Willow's relationship, I am good pulling the Xander too!(If Will ends up dead, even if it's temporary, Tara will sob. BE AWARE.)

I think it'll be awesome the way it looks so far, but I was kind of hoping you'd be okay with Tara pulling the Xander since I think it'd be really IC of her and it'd be great to strengthen their relationship. (I FIGURED AS MUCH ;o; which is why I was kinda leaning toward Xander-ifying it as long as you're okay with that ♥!)

Drusilla, on the other hand, should probably have her own list. Because she isn't as stupid as she acts, she'll probably keep out of the way of dark!Willow unless dark!Willow tries to hurt her ersatz family. But she might be a bit of a troll during the lead up?
