Once upon a time, a long time ago, Emma and Keri were feeling particularly evil and decided that what Taxon really needed was a glitch where the evil witch possessing DG's sister in canon ended up in DG's head instead. Horrors, from brain sucking through to flying monkeys, followed.

History really does repeat itself.

Starting soonish - early April - and lasting for about a fortnight, the witch will be back. DG will be evil - right down to the cleavage monkeys - and largely focused on the domination of Taxon.

So, do any of you want to get your characters in on this? Try and reason with the witch! Get thrown in prison! Get into a fight with a platoon of minions! Any and all shenanigans are welcome. Plot with meeeeeeeee!

Soooo as of this post, Long is dead, thanks to the hamsters glitching Gwen back to powers-on at the worst possible moment. My thanks to Steph for a completely awesome thread between Gwen and Long, I had a blast writing it with her.

He's not gone for good, of course-- per the FAQ, characters can come back after a week, although he's losing his hotel rooms and his thousands of books. So do your mournin' now, he'll be back in a week, sometime around the third of March! And someone please get Gwen a stiff drink?

Because all OOC posts require a gif, apparently. ANYWAY. Yes, as the gif may or may not give away, for the duration of three-ish weeks, give or take a few days, Angel will be glitched into a human. This will more than likely only affect his cast and CR, but I'm of course game for anything and everything within reason.

More than likely, I'll be kicking this off tomorrow at some point. ♥

HELLO TAXON! Starting Wednesday, on top of being forcibly confined to the Sanctuary, you will all have a ten-year-old boy to deal with (or ignore—he's used to that). This is Dick Whitman and he is quiet, watchful, and from 1936. (He is also—or will be, at any rate—Don Draper, but the name won't mean anything to him until much later. On the tablets his name will display as Dick Whitman.)

The glitch should last around two weeks, and while I already have some (awesome, naturally) things planned, it'd be great if Don got to interact with people outside his usual circle. Someone needs to introduce him to the wonders of the washing machine and foosball and having enough food to eat.

Anyway, questions? Plotting ideas? Preemptive mockery of his haircut?

Hello Taxon!

I think it's about time Rose got her first glitch. She's been here a few months now and I want to shake her up a little. (or just be really mean)

Anyway, the glitch will last from about 1st to the 12th June.

The basics of the glitch: Rose will be glitched into the state she was in after being bitten by a werewolf. For those of you unfamiliar with TVD, it means that she will suffer incredible pain, have hallucinations and be extremely blood-thirsty. You really don't want to get in her way.

So, this is where I turn to you lovely people and ask if you want to/how to be involved!

Ideally, I'd like her to have some PCs that she could attack (but definitely not kill or maim really horribly) but if no one signs up for that, I'll have her attack NPCs instead.

I'll also need people who can take her down and subdue her so that she won't hurt anyone else. So, anybody up for that challenge?

During this time, people can interact with Rose via her phone post over here when she's not addressing the city itself.

SO. It's been an awesome glitch-- and it's still going!-- but it's about that ending/backdating time.

As such: this evening or tomorrow, Dawn will be un-glitched and duly horrified with herself. We can all still backdate and/or handwave to our hearts' content, but in order to help myself (and everyone else) out, this post will have a rough timeline of events so we can all be un-trapped and up to speed.

If you have any additions or corrections or requests, comment here and I'll edit to reflect!

Without further ado, a rough timeline.

- Dawn is glitched.

- Dawn attacks Mattie; Dan spots them and she runs.

- Dawn attacks Smecker and is revealed as a vampire; she goes into Taxon's version of hiding and chills with Katherine.

- She fights Rorschach, and when it becomes clear she can't win she bails.

- Same as above, but with Adrian.

- Buffy broaches the tomb idea with the Watchmen. (If you guys want to work out the details here, that's totally cool.)

- The Watchmen mount up and take Dawn down together; she gets shoved in the tomb.

- UNGLITCH YAAAAAAAAY.

Somewhere in there, someone should be bringing Dawn blood; anyone not have an in and want one, or one of the usual suspects down? Either way.

DO NOT ADJUST YOUR SETS, THIS IS (AS PER TONIGHT) GOING TO BE A TAXON JOURNAL FOR A SHORT SPAN OF TIME.

For about a week and a half or so, Dawn is going to celebrate her nearly two year Taxon-versary with her very first glitch. (She would like to make it known this is all Angel's fault because he jinxed her.)

Because it's me, the glitch is horrors: the general gist is a 'what if' type change. What if instead of just staying in LA during his turn at the wheel in S4 of ATS, Angelus hightailed it down to Sunnydale to fuck around with Scoobies? And by 'fuck with the Scoobies' I mean 'kill them all, then turn the most important person in the world to Buffy'.

General Josspire rules with this one; for max amount of 'oh Jesus God why' Dawn won't have any idea where she is or wtf is going on.

Okay, so! I'd really rather not get too messy with the fallout from this one; Rumi and I talked out Angel running herd on his worse half's AU childe to keep the death toll at nil, but if you want your character to get messed with/menaced by an evil sparkly troll, that I can do.

So, okay! Glitch starts later this afternoon/tonight, ask any questions or plot away here. LET'S ROCK, TAXON.

Hi Taxon! Ebs here, bringing you some glitchy goodness.

This Saturday happens to be Katherine's 536th birthday. Because I'm awful, I'm giving her a special present; she will be glitched that day to revert from her delightful vampiric self into a regular human with absolutely no nifty supernatural abilities she's gotten so used to having and using. Oh yeah, she will love it. (No, no she won't.)

This glitch will run from April 9th to April 23rd, so that's two full weeks. As Katherine being a vampire is still a secret to most of Taxon, this will not really affect anyone but the castmates and limited CR that are in on said secret.

As being human back in late 1400's presented a lot of issues for Katherine, such as the oldest vampire in the history of ever coming after her to break an ancient curse, Katherine will likely spend the first few days of the glitch in complete shock. She'll try to hide this for as long as possible, but I'll make it so that the post I'll put up on Saturday should make it fairly obvious that something's up to those who know what to look for. I'm sort of playing this by the ear, so no solid plans other than the fact that Katherine will become steadily more and more anxious and frustrated about being human and everything related to it as the glitch goes on. She may be driven into doing some possibly stupid things during week two. :|

Feel free to treat this as a planning post, ask questions/clarifications, etc. Castmates/CR: if there is something specific you'd like to see happen with this glitch, I'm more than happy to plot and make it happen! I welcome all horrors. I'm completely down with anyone taking advantage of the fact that Katherine can't really do so much to fend for herself during this. As always, you're welcome to use Katherine's phone post for trolling her at anytime during the glitch (applies also for when she isn't glitched).

Just a quick update to say that as of any posts today (03/18) and onward, Angel has been re-ensouled. Those of us working on wrapping up the plot are just backtagging champs and still working on those threads, but ICly, he's back to being Angel. Thank you to everyone who participated in making this bit of metaplot go so smoothly! Y'all rock. ♥

HELLO TAXON, I BRING YOU HORRORS. Of a slightly different variety. As those of you who were hanging around these parts this time last year will recall, I did something similar in glitching Angel into Angelus. There was lots of pre-plotting and during-plotting and post-plotting, etc. Not that complicated this time around, thank goodness. But, in the interest of getting down with some metaplot, I'm going to do a two week long replay of that to show that yes, sometimes the aliens do rinse, lather and repeat their glitches. No one is safe. Were a tiny once, don't think you'll be tiny!ified again? WRONG. They can do it to you again. If they wanted to.

Anyway, the gist. The glitch will run from March 4th to March 18th. Angel will wake up the morning of March 4th already soulless, but he's going to play up to still being Angel for a while. Until about, I'd say, the ~10th or so, depending on how IC shenanigans go and how much time my work schedule permits me, and so on. After that, he'll announce himself in his awesome, tactful (see: tactless) way and we'll go from there.

Right now, the only things we've got planned are Angelus kidnapping one Jason Stackhouse to mess with Sookie, and her using her ~fairy princess powers~ to get him back. So, I'm pretty much game for anything and everything y'all might want to do. Buffyverse Cast, if y'all would like to resoul him-- Stella, Ammmy, Sarah?-- then I'm all for that. If not, the glitch will just time out and he'll revert on his own.

PLAN AWAY. I am seriously open to anything and willing to accommodate as I can to make things possible. ♥

Right, so, as per this post, a very large black dragon has spontaneously (?) appeared in Taxon. (Shh, it's actually Long.) By 'large' I mean around 90-100 feet from snout to tail-tip. He's the Chinese-style-sort-of-dragon, which is to say, no wings, and a long snakelike body that just happens to have four legs. He can still speak perfectly understandably. If you want a better physical description of Oolong, you can find it in this excerpt from his canon.

HELLO TAXON. I come bearing a glitch that will more than likely affect just cast and CR for one

nofunever, but as always, I'm down for horrors and shenanigans of all kinds. Originally, I was going for the last full week of January with this, buuuut due to my work schedule looking a little scary that week, I'm bumping it up to next week!

What's the gist? An individual time warp back to 1864! He'll be human, from not too long after Katherine showed up in Mystic Falls. Stefan will look the same, save he'll be ~alive~ (...which doesn't make much of a difference, thank you TVD vampires and your unique physiology) and will think it's supposed to be 1864, and that the Civil War is going on outside. He will more than likely blame waking up in a strange house on the Union, like you do. This will last about a week, maybe a bit longer depending on how threads go. And later, he will more than likely claim that he has no idea why the aliens make him think he was citizen of the Confederacy. Nope, nooo idea what-so-ever. Who knows why the aliens do what they do. Totally wasn't born in the 1800s, and am most certainly not a vampire. >.>;

I'll probably post this weekend-ish. Ideas, give me them and I welcome all the confusion ever. :D

So! With regards to the whole Wendigo glitch, I will have to handwave most of the events (terrorizing Willow and Tara, Wesley, bonding with the Master, almost nomming Martha) and go straight to the end of the glitch because... RP funk, I still has it. anyone who has a surefire way to cure this, i'm all ears. For Willow/Tara/Wesley, let's just assume that they've managed to outwit it and they escaped, and that the Master has successfully hypnotized the Wendigo into almost nomming Martha but she was able to escape its clutches? If you have an idea on how these events would have transpired, I'm all ears :D

ALSO, Poetry - is it okay if we still go with the original plan of Ax whacking the Wendigo unconscious? Annnnd Keri, are we still going with the idea of having the Wendigo shrunk or should we just have it thrown into a jail/locked/chained somewhere? I'm still a bit fuzzy with this part, and I just want to make sure that we're all on the same page on this before I put up the end-glitch post, idk.

...because I think it's time to screw up one of my characters and I thought, hey, why not the tamest one? :>

Sometime this coming week I shall be glitching Piper and turning her into a Wendigo. It's a werewolf/Sasquatch hybrid and seeks out victims to eat their hearts out. Literally.

So! If your character:

a) has AB negative blood (which... I'm going to tweak a bit since character blood type, pfft. who knows those)
b) is in love
c) at least has a good heart (which qualifies almost everyone here, I believe)

Then congratulations! You're in the running to be hunted down by a Wendigo. Those who are interested to be fleeing for their lives, however momentarily, let me know in this post so we can plot together :D

ALSO it's worth noting that if ever a Wendigo scratches/bites someone, then that someone becomes a Wendigo. That's how Piper's canonically turned into one. And it'll be difficult to catch her since she retains her freezing power - so it's possible that she'll freeze and run from her captors. Idek. Thoughts on how this will be resolved, I am very open to them :D

Hello everyone! I wanted to let you know about Spike's upcoming glitch that I will be posting about tonight. Mainly, that I will be stealing away his soul. It will not be a moment of perfect happiness in any way, shape, or form, and it shouldn't last too long, but he will be nastier than usual.

I should point out, though, that he won't go evil exactly. There will be no plans to eat his friends, though some extras might get nommed on. Except they taste like saw dust, so maybe not. Spike chose to get his soul, and as he isn't losing any memories, he still wants to be good, even if he isn't wracked with guilt.

SO. Thought you all should know. This'll probably mostly just effect cast mates and other people with whom he has CR. Expect this to happen very, very soon!

I'm glitching Glitch in a different manner from his usual glitchery. Starting with my next post and for the next week or so he's going to be Fegan Floop from the Spy Kids films. I'm taking him from the first movie and he'll be...quite confused, but mostly harmless. All of this is, of course, purely for the lulz.

This is a planning thread for Ax's upcoming glitch, since I'm going on vacation this Saturday and will have limited internet access. The glitch will be posted on the 21st, when I get back from vacation.

Ax can morph into any one of fifty different forms. This comes from Andalite morphing technology. Normally, he can't morph from one form straight to another. He can't stay in morph for more than two hours, and in order to control a morph, he needs to subdue the animal's instincts, which come along with its physical shape. Normally, Ax is very good at suppressing these animal instincts.

However, with this glitch, everything will go awry. He'll be morphing straight from one form to the next with no control over the process. What's more, he'll have no control over the animal instincts, so he'll basically be a terrified passenger in the brain of a wild animal. He'll also find himself in morphs he can't usually use (due to complicated reasons I won't go into here.) Here's a list of the morphs he has that can cause the most fun horrors:

- jaguar
- Leeran (this is a psychic alien, which can read the minds of anyone within a several-yard radius unless they have psychic shielding)
- African elephant (normally peaceful, but will rampage scarily if provoked)
- polar bear
- mountain goat (they're mean and have horns)
- cheetah
- Taxxon (this is a gigantic - like tree trunk sized - cannibalistic centipede with giant teeth that will attempt to eat any flesh within sight)
and best of all...
-Tyrannosaurus Rex who will totally go on a rampage through Taxon!

So I need volunteers for:

- people who are OK with being chased by Ax in morph
- people who are OK with being injured by Ax in morph
- any buildings people are willing to volunteer to get some structural damage from the T. Rex
- people who want to be mind-read by Ax in Leeran morph
- people who want to help stop Ax's rampage and keep him from damaging buildings and people
