Hey Taxon, it is Friday, and we're kicking off the weekend with an HMD!

Please comment here with the names of the characters you play and others will reply with their feedback- and it's obviously a given that this feedback will be helpful, constructive and respectful. Also, as amazing as getting "OMG ILU!" comments is, it's nice to hear why and what we're doing right, just as much as criticism needs to be constructive. Participation is also entirely optional, and if you have any issues just let a mod know and we'll help out as much as we can. There is also a top comment for any questions, comments, crit, and compliments for the mods and the game itself.

Closing Applications: Because of a large upcoming plot (details this weekend!) followed by Keri going globetrotting again, we will not be processing apps from June 7 - July 21. If you've been planning on getting an app in, now's the time to do it!

I'm sure I don't have to say how utterly sad I am about your de-motivation re: Party Poison. I wish there was something I could do to help! He was there when Gwen first joined and from that first thread he's been just such a joy to interact with. I really think he added a little something *else* to Taxon that it hadn't seen before, if that makes sense? (IDK if that's a grand, unfair statement to make--I'll say it added something *I'VE* never seen in Taxon before, while I was here).

BUT that being said, I 100% completely understand your feelings, as you and I have talked a little about my similar feelings regarding Illyria. It definitely sucks when it doesn't feel FUN to thread or tag or do anything with them, or their voice is just harder to pinpoint or whatever. For what it's worth, crit wise, when you do have him pop up, his voice is never lacking for me.

On another note, I do love threading with Arthur (and the Arthur/Ariadne team), even though I so so apologize for being painfully slow and we can handwave that painting Gwen/Arthur thread if you want to (let's say she steals some sort of trinket. Your choice whether he realizes it or not. Or we can make it a bigger deal and have her steal something Important and he can make obligatory line faces). I can't wait to see what he does re: dreaming. I like how you play his kind of... exasperation/annoyance with Gwen and yet...kinda curiosity. It's easy to have her respond with playful intentional trolling and yet kinda curiosity right back at him.

Dittoing everything Steph said about your Party burnout. :( I've enjoyed so much our past chats about Paul and Party (and Long and Party too!) but I also understand what it's like when nothing is coming for a character. :(

I honestly haven't seen enough of you and your boys in the last two months to actually say anything about them. Which maybe says something in and of itself.

I hope to see more of them and I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling with Party.

I love Arthur, you know I do. I know you're busy but it doesn't stop me from wishing for seeing more of him around. We have things to do!

As for Party, I haven't yet had RP with him.

I admit, I like that Josef and Arthur don't entirely click and yet, like businessmen, can over come that to communicate. I find that they don't quite fit well to be a lot of fun.

I don't know Party's canon but I adore him. He and Josef talking has been so much fun. I love his language, the fun of his joy of life.
