Hey Taxon, it is Friday, and we're kicking off the weekend with an HMD!

Please comment here with the names of the characters you play and others will reply with their feedback- and it's obviously a given that this feedback will be helpful, constructive and respectful. Also, as amazing as getting "OMG ILU!" comments is, it's nice to hear why and what we're doing right, just as much as criticism needs to be constructive. Participation is also entirely optional, and if you have any issues just let a mod know and we'll help out as much as we can. There is also a top comment for any questions, comments, crit, and compliments for the mods and the game itself.

Anonymous commenting is enabled and IP logging is off for your convenience should you require it!

Closing Applications: Because of a large upcoming plot (details this weekend!) followed by Keri going globetrotting again, we will not be processing apps from June 7 - July 21. If you've been planning on getting an app in, now's the time to do it!

Let me start by saying I love your tags, no matter when/where they're from, be it March or May or last December. I'm sorry you feel like you're lagging behind in CR, but that's what the SOTT CR meme is for. Never hesitate to poke me about stuff, whether it's tags or a lack of momentum or wanting to handwave something. I know I say this a lot, but I really do want your tags. I want them all.

I'm...actually writing an IC letter from Bagoas to Glitch, re: the mess with Remus. This might also be a good time for him to be clued into the fact Glitch isn't technically tied down these days, if you're at all up for anything along those lines (even if it's just awkwardly declining advances on Bagoas' part). After Remus explaining the general ways modern people do relationships, he's got a bit of Unrequited Crushing going on.

And though I stand by his modesty and shock at the thought of anyone going into a body of water (and NAKED, what is this skinny dipping thing) – he would SO steal a look or three of Glitch once he got over the face!palming.

Oh god do I understand the 'month ago' syndrome, I've had to drop/wind so many things cuz they were so old and I'm like 'eeeeerrrp'.

I think we should get Long and Glitch high have Paul come visit, as you pointed out they haven't talked in god's own age, as yelling at each other during the shooting doesn't count. Y/N? paul needs to ask for wyatt's hand in marriage

Glitch is endearing and sweet and well played, but I find it hard to comment more because I don't think we've ever finished a thread, which makes it hard to build more CR and opinions.

I have had so much fun with Az and Glitch dealing with the brain and I hope you know that I never, ever have a problem with slow tags or whatever works for us. I may tag too quick but I get excited but I'm never worried about back tagging. Not when the drama and rp are so much fun.

I'm always up for helping with any ideas or tagging needs you might have. I can admit that is because I would love to see more cr with Glitch and Az >.>

Throwing this out there but a little twist on that could be she SEES everyone/some people as vamps/horrible monsters, even though their not? I mean, granted, a simple "NO SERIOUSLY STOP I SWEAR I AM NOT A VAMPIRE YOU'RE GOING CRAZY" could fix things, sometimes. But if she actually SEES the fangs and "grr" face and eyes and evilness and whatnot? Her instincts might prevail and it would cause some other Taxon members to actually have to run away and deal with Buffy hunting them and maybe if you wanna get real dark, hurting someone. Kinda reminds me of that episode...crap, I can't remember the name. The one where she thinks she's back in a psychiatric ward and her world as the slayer is all in her head.

So yes I'd definitely like to see Buffy in full on slayer mode!

If whatever plots you can come up with end up needing Giles-esque figures, I now have TWO.

I love the glitch idea! Josef will be all pouty because he never uses the V word, and Az seems to have no issue hitting people with magic. :D

I think Josef and Buffy should talk sometimes because I haven't had enough cr time harassing her.

Nikola is already a vampire. But he's a good vampire. He swears! Except, you know, he enjoys causing trouble. He wouldn't enjoy being hunted.

But if she does decide to attack him, I'm perfectly okay with that. He needs more people to fight with, yep.

I'm sure I don't have to say how utterly sad I am about your de-motivation re: Party Poison. I wish there was something I could do to help! He was there when Gwen first joined and from that first thread he's been just such a joy to interact with. I really think he added a little something *else* to Taxon that it hadn't seen before, if that makes sense? (IDK if that's a grand, unfair statement to make--I'll say it added something *I'VE* never seen in Taxon before, while I was here).

BUT that being said, I 100% completely understand your feelings, as you and I have talked a little about my similar feelings regarding Illyria. It definitely sucks when it doesn't feel FUN to thread or tag or do anything with them, or their voice is just harder to pinpoint or whatever. For what it's worth, crit wise, when you do have him pop up, his voice is never lacking for me.

On another note, I do love threading with Arthur (and the Arthur/Ariadne team), even though I so so apologize for being painfully slow and we can handwave that painting Gwen/Arthur thread if you want to (let's say she steals some sort of trinket. Your choice whether he realizes it or not. Or we can make it a bigger deal and have her steal something Important and he can make obligatory line faces). I can't wait to see what he does re: dreaming. I like how you play his kind of... exasperation/annoyance with Gwen and yet...kinda curiosity. It's easy to have her respond with playful intentional trolling and yet kinda curiosity right back at him.

Really looking forward to seeing how his ego manages coming to terms with the prisoner situation of Taxon, and the strangeness of being in a place where nobody really gives a damn who's a mutant or not, which would be so foreign to him.

Great minds and I swear I didn't copy! <3) So I'll say that I'm considering dropping her so that someone better can tackle her if I can't get any juices flowing but gah it makes me feel like such a failure. But here she is.

I really like Arya! There should be more Arya poking things with swords. You seem to have her voice down tightly.

Poor Remus. :( I really like how you're writing him though, it's just lovely.

I can understand the difficulties with Scott, like we were saying-- it's hard to know what to do with an organizer-leader sort like that in the specific circumstances of Taxon. The glitches occasionally provide threats the characters can respond to, but absent of that the proactive things to do, such as they are, are hard to play out. Maybe we can brainstorm.

I really enjoyed the thread with Jason and Raziel-- it was a great intro opportunity for me getting him into the city and having that happen, so, cheers for that.

Notes: I'm sure everyone's shocked but yeah, burn-out issues with Paul. Which have been a problem for six months a while now. I'm working on trying to poke him out into the city, get him talking with all these wonderful new characters.

Notes: I'm still having brand-spanking-new character buzz, so that's fun. Really enjoying the interactions he's had so far with people in Taxon, looking forward to more. Magic expert is in the house, so I hope some plot stuff can breed out of that-- maybe helping Remus with his lycanthropy if Jemi's up for it? Magic talk with Az and/or DG? Allll the things.

Long: I barely know him and rarely see him. I'd like to change this.

Smecker: I love him, but I admit, his delayed thread with Remus put me in a bit of a spot, justifying why Remus had been out and about when he knew just how much of a threat he was. But I enjoy threads when they happen and I know burnout sucks.

Jason: I'm up for trying to help with the lycanthropy, though Remus is probably going to be very wary about the Dark Magic. I really liked our thread with Jason and Remus and I love the poetry you come up with.

It can be slow, but I do enjoy playing with you a lot.

As I said above, I try to be honest and give crit and praise where due, but I personally have no crit for you. I love your characters, you never drop threads, you reply in a reasonable time frame and you play your muses wonderfully.
