Hey Taxon, it is Friday, and we're kicking off the weekend with an HMD!

Please comment here with the names of the characters you play and others will reply with their feedback- and it's obviously a given that this feedback will be helpful, constructive and respectful. Also, as amazing as getting "OMG ILU!" comments is, it's nice to hear why and what we're doing right, just as much as criticism needs to be constructive. Participation is also entirely optional, and if you have any issues just let a mod know and we'll help out as much as we can. There is also a top comment for any questions, comments, crit, and compliments for the mods and the game itself.

Closing Applications: Because of a large upcoming plot (details this weekend!) followed by Keri going globetrotting again, we will not be processing apps from June 7 - July 21. If you've been planning on getting an app in, now's the time to do it!

Skysong is sweet and lovely as ever. Briar and Remus need to meet up again once Remus has stopped hiding in his house from the world, because between Briar, Remus, Azkadellia and Jason, they can make all sorts of perversions of the Wolfsbane to go horribly wrong.

You're missed while on hiatus (ish).

Thank you! And yes, I agree. All the horrors. Poor Remus. Both of mine approve of him not hiding anymore, though.

I don't know much about Briar but as for Kitten...

I adore how you handle her. She doesn't easily communicate with others and yet you do a lot that means her manners can be read, and the typing on the tablet. You're amazing at giving reasons to interact with others, and plenty to work off of. I'm so glad she and Josef are roomies now.

Kitten and Josef make me so happy. So happyyyyyy. Your Josef made me watch Moonlight because I wanted more Josef in my life. And I love playing with language barriers, so she's a fun opportunity to do that because she can understand everyone and it doesn't limit my CR. It always takes me a bit to hit my stride with her as I work out how she'll communicate best in the game, but now I'm really enjoying playing her.

I loves the little dagron. Spike and Kitten should go out to the barrier at some point together.

Haven't had any interaction with Briar to say anything about one way or the other.

It's part of Kitten's morning routine, though I could justify moving that to whatever time of day. He can keep her company while she hurls spells at the barrier trying to break it, and then they can go out for a meal. If it's not breakfast time, he could introduce her to the joy of onion blossoms and other horribly unhealthy fried things! Hey, if they're both immortal(ish), why not eat all the things that would clog any human's arteries?

I think it's kind of interesting that all the comments are on Kitten. I do consider her my primary character, though, and she's usually much easier to write than Briar is. I will try to branch out his CR more.

It could be really early morning? Spike will brave a little sun for the right reasons. He has a habit of essentially telling the sun to screw off. Wings and onion blossoms and cheese sticks for all! Spike can punch the barrier a few times. It might make him feel a bit better.

Kitten and Long's interactions just...... <3 It's SUCH a different dynamic than he has with anyone else in Taxon, and it tickles me so entirely pinkly. (Pinkly? Is that a word? It is now.)

Still need to have proper CR betwixt Briar and one of my gang. Soon as you're un-slowed!

I love Kitten and Long. Love, love, love. Long is doing something that no one in Kitten's life has ever tried to do; her grandparents and her very distant cousin already knew her language, and no human she knows has attempted to learn it. (She needs to learn about Long being a dragon at some point.) I will always want more of Kitten & Long in my life. I rather delight in using this icon in threads with them, too, considering he was a black dragon. He's a big black dragon holding her carefully in his claws in spirit!

And Briar likes Long, so they should finally do a language exchange at some point. Briar would be willing to learn Chinese, and he could teach Tradertalk or Imperial. Also, he's rather intrigued by Smecker, who blatantly stole things and then picked the lock over at the jail. Briar is even more careful about stealing here now.
