Thiiiis is a multipurpose post!

First, I'm back! I have internet, and while it's just a tiny bit slow, I don't care. So yes, there's that, and I'm happy to see you all. <3

Second, with my return, I'm going to be canon-bumping Dean to current events. He's going to be waking up after the events of 5x02, the episode that was on last Thursday, and there's some stuff that happened in that episode that make for a somewhat sad Dean. Anyway, that's going to happen some time today, annnnd... yeah.

SO, THIS MEANS.
Dean (fudgingkillyou), Billy (needtoruleit), and Tonks (awfulfirstname) are all back in action.

Hi, everyone! I'm Anna, and I will be bringing in a snotty Vulcan doctor from the Trek Reboot universe. (If anyone remembers the little brat who insulted Spock's mom and got his face pounded in, this is him, but older. :3)

HEY GUYS, we've got a couple of things to tell you about, so without further ado, here they be:

1. APPLICATIONS. We've made a couple of changes to the process, which are: we've introduced some word-limit guidelines to give you more of a specific idea of how much tl;dr is required of you. We're also asking that you email applications to us now, instead of posting them- this is to save the epic multiple comment confusion that so many people seem to face at the hour of applying.

2. THE WIKI. We'd like to urge everyone that hasn't yet registered to do so, and make their contact information all nice and available so that we can collectively pester each other. We've also updated the Taxon map so that each location is clickable, with its own dedicated page (see Farscape-1 and Cheyenne Mountain for example)- so if you could edit those accordingly, with as much info as you like, that would be wonderful.

In addition to this, each canon has its own page too, so if you're feeling particularly loving towards your fandom, it would be great if people could edit those as well (see Farscape page as an example)- it's really a free-for-all Edit-fest that we're encouraging. ON THAT NOTE, and this is IMPORTANT, we'd like it if people could try to keep external linking to a minimum on the wiki, as it would be awesome if all the relevant information was all in one amazing place- so rather than saying 'go here for more info', feel free to wholesale paste things, and just CITE WHERE YOU GOT THEM FROM.

3. TAXON TRANSPORT- EXCITING. That's right, we're introducing Taxon's very own tram service, creatively branded 'Taxonlink'. This is to make it easier for those of your characters that are avid pedestrians to get around the city more quickly, and will mean that one can circumnavigate the city in its entirety in 45 minutes. With four lines running 24 hours a day across Taxon, it also means that no-one will ever be more than a 15 minute walk away from a tram stop. The trams will just be materialising from the ether overnight, without so much as a by-your-leave, so feel free to have your characters go outside and play 'Spot the HUGE FREAKING DIFFERENCE' with accompanying WTFery.
