Srs bznss being the Doctor's trial and sentencing. Since my character's being too much of a self-satisfied bastard for anyone to like him at all, it's really about time he gets knocked down a peg or two with some community service/flogging/sentencing.
So! First thing's first. I know
mightyfallen will be putting up a post about committees for deciding the Doctor's fate. How would you guys like to go about it? A proper trial with defense/prosecution? Committees just deciding his fate? A mob storming into the prison? I know most characters have cooled down to the point where they just never want to see the Doctor again, but I'd like to know what would suit you all.
His present crimes:
1) Terrorism: Threatening the people of Taxon with untimely deaths.
2) Destruction of property: Of his dozen or so bombs, most of them managed to destroy huge chunks of property and belongings
3) Assault/Murder (?): Said bombs injured a number of people, some severely. Several Extras were killed.
4) Perversion of Justice: He escaped prison earlier this week (though that knowledge isn't public---I think)
Also, his sentencing. Personally, I'm very cool with anything that could happen to the Doctor so long as a) He doesn't die and b) He isn't kept in jail. No one loves IC consequences like I do, but having your only pup in prison for a month can be really frustrating! I was discussing maybe a magic tracking anklet (because he can't tamper with magic) to keep track of him like house arrest for an amount of time? Or, for those of y'all with more medieval muses, flogging. I'm pretty cool with the Doctor getting hurt, just so long as it isn't permanent and I know it's gonna happen. Maybe community service? Having to do work around Wayne Manor like a butler? Let me know what y'all think you (and your characters) would like to see the Doctor do to repay his crimes!
