I bring you Nazca Barsavi from Scott Lynch's book The Lies of Locke Lamora. She's the daughter of a big deal crime lord in a city loosely based on renaissance-era Venice, with magic, alchemy, and huge structures possibly built by aliens. (Classic better than it sounds fodder. I highly recommend her canon to fantasy fans.)

Basically? She's Michael Corleone, only a girl who wears glasses. Oh, and her best friend is the world's greatest con artist. Be very afraid. Arrival post for her will probably go up sometime tonight.
