So, hello! I'm Brittany. :) Uuuummmm, most of you probably don't know me, but I play this guy and a very small cast of other characters around the rp world. I've been playing Eric off and on for almost a year now and got enabled by Sarah and Zee. They're really good at it, ya know. <3333 So, I know there have been two other Eric's before mine, so I hope I do a good job taking over. And seriously you have no idea just how excited I am to finally join this game! No really. It's embarrassing.

Uhhhh, some stuff about Eric, if you for some reason don't already know. He's a vampire, he's a sheriff, he's morally gray, he's loyal, he's super awesome! Don't fuck with the people he cares about (aka Godric and if we ever get a Pam, her too), or he will fuck you up. I think that about sums it up in a nice little nutshell. If you want me to explain more I will, buuut seeing as he's been a pretty common character here, I'm betting it won't be necessary.

Sooo, yeah! Character intro will be posted shortly and I'll get to work on that permissions post too. :D

WE LIKE TO REMIND YOU OF STUFF

Taxon Mods here to bring you a quick and gentle reminder with added rules clarification concerning our favorite thing ever: permissions!

First, the clarification to our infomodding rule. If you have a character from farther ahead in the canon timeline than another character from that cast currently in Taxon, then you must make sure you talk to the player before you have your character spill beans about what happens in their future. While we’re sure that no harm is ever meant by it, it’s still important that you let your fellow players know before you do it and make sure they’re okay with whatever development such a revelation will bring about.

Second, we’re going to be updating our gamewide permissions meme next week! There will be new questions, changed questions, and a new format for answering it that won’t have you wrestling with the comment character limits anymore. For the questions that are the same, you're of course free to copy/paste your old answers. And don’t forget about it once you’ve filled it out! It’s there for you to consult at all times, so don’t leave it sittin’ lonely by itself when you want to know offhand about a character’s mind-reading susceptibility or whether or not they’d donate some blood to one of our friendly neighborhood vampires.

Remember: communication is key, knowledge is power, and gain permission from others as you would like to be asked for permission.

Hiatus

Hey guys, it's Beth.


So I know I pretty much just got here but. I have to call a hiatus for bullshit.

The internet has gone down in my apartment until, and I quote, "they get there to fix it." Which, in that industry, could be anywhere from tomorrow to a week from now.

I'm going to have to call a hiatus until the 22nd of September to accomodate stupidity and all that good shit. Depending on how quickly it goes back up, I may be back sooner but. We'll see. I wouldn't be surprised if it took a week.

Stay awesome while I'm gone.

--UPDATE--

The entire city of Rexburg using Cable One to provide their internet has no internet. There are rumors that it's statewide as well, so. The other rumor is that they cut a cable or several somewhere. If the hiatus needs to be extended I will let everyone know, but for the moment, it looks like it actually will take at least the week.

Rumi and Kat are both able to get a hold of me. If you need to as well, get in contact with one of them.
